ReplyDeleteWell your obviously not paying attention to the show and more to what is said about the show. If gearmo does come back, then you can actually see the HUGE difference in a white curly hair sniper and a bald mexican with a 9mm. But estavan, gearmo and the mexican mafia went to jail. Estavan is dead. The DEA agents are dead and gone too. The past is in the past. Except the money to the x DEA's wife and her son. Don't over think the show, enjoy it, love it. And don't forget it. P.s the sniper shooter and the DEA's son is the same person. Dumbasses.

ReplyDeleteNo one knows for sure yet. No official announcement. But a lot of the actors feel their will be one more season etc. so I'm sure it will be renewed.
ReplyDeleteI think ratings don't matter too much for it atm. At 7 seasons they deserve a final season imo. It's been a cash pig for showtime. So I think they'll give it to them.
If they do renew it I hope it will be the last season. It´s getting worse every year. I use to love Nancy, now she is the most irritating thing on the show.

ReplyDeletei completely agree with you, was awesome until they set the fire and went to ren mar. but despite the rubbish seasons, i think this latest season has improved vastly. not quite as good as the early ones, but its been on a comeback. i hope they do one more and wrap up the show and leave on a high, - pun not intended, but funny - lol

Yeah, I think there's not much left for them to try with this series... If they keep trying, the end's gonna be ridiculous, it's better to end it while people still watch it...

How can anyone say it all went down after season three? Did no one see season 6, especially season 6 finale! the best of the show. showtime shows are not afraid to go different places and keep their characters and plot lines moving. Trust me, if they had stayed in suburbia the show would have gotten boring really fast.
ReplyDeleteI think there is a good possibility that it's Agent Fundis who attempts to shoot Nancy. (Remember, he was the partner of Peter Scottson, who always burped, and he suspected Nancy was involved in Peter's death.) He definitely has reason to hate her, since Nancy is the reason he had to leave the DEA. I don't think it was Tim. The image looks nothing like him. I also don't think the shooter (whoever it may be) actually killed Nancy. The gun shown had a silencer attached, but a loud gun shot is clearly heard. There must be a second shooter. Whether the second shooter is after Nancy or the sniper, we may never know......
ReplyDeleteWhile not as subtle as The Sopranos, it did reek of it a bit. I was expecting her to die, but albeit a bit more obvious; you don't do what she did for any amount of time and get away with it. An obvious, straight forward death would have been far more entertaining for me.
ReplyDeleteGuillermo? the brief glimpse of the shooter had hair in his face; the dude's bald. He wouldn't wear a wig. And I didn't believe for a second that Esteban was actually dead when it was first mentioned, however he would have found her sooner if he were alive.
I'd like to see a nice, short season 8. If her character actually is dead, no need to go on for a full season without the leader. Begin at her funeral and flash back to those lost 'two months' between NYC and CT

ReplyDeleteIt could very well be Estaban because he has a longer lower shaped nose and smaller closer to the head ears. There was no defiant proof that he truly died in prison while Nancy was locked up. And seeing how Lil Stevie is now back in the picture, if Estaban truly is still alive he could be after not just Nancy but Nancy's sister as well to try to get his son back. And seeing how people believe Estaban is dead it's an even better way for him to get away with it. If Nancy does get shot, this season will probably be the last and it will probably be spent with Nancy in the hospital and the family raising money selling pot for her funeral cost and hospital expenses or even a quick black market life insurance policy to set everyone up for life. Either way I really do see an end of Weeds coming soon. And it's sad too because Weeds is one of my favorite tv series.
ReplyDeleteDoes Nancy have the balls to shot her own sister? I mean they have always been at each other's throat. She did basically hold her son hostage. Would she get her sister into a place of false security and then hire someone to kill her? She does kind of like being the Queen Bee. Then she could ship her nieces back to her brother-in-law. I like this idea better.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so we could all relate more to the suburban widow selling pot on the schoolyard soccer pitch. If they'd extended that beyond the burning of Aggrestic, we would have all taken a hit from the bong and switched channels. 14 year old Shane commits murder at the end of 5 - chilling and fitting at the same time. And not without some croquet mallet humor. Then to end season 6, Nancy finally gets thrown in the slammer, of - for all things - a crime she was not guilty of, but shows her dedication as a mother and her determination not to get offed? Weedtastic. Maybe I'm a fool in love with the Botwins, I don't know. But they had me all the way. I'm sure an 8th season is in the works, and Nancy will live on in one way or another.

ReplyDeleteLook very carefully. The eyebrows match up, the shape of the ears look spot on, and you can faintly see the curly hair on the sniper and on the son of the DEA Agent. I am convinced that this is the sniper.

ReplyDeleteAll of you guys have good theories, however, looking at the photo the facial structure looks a helluva lot like Estaban. I know hes supposed to be dead but we dont know that for sure...its heresay. I believe we will all be shocked to find out its Estaban. We will see thr new season starts in July.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that she (presumably) got shot. Nancy was a self-indulgent, narcissistic scum who could have cared less about anything not pertaining to her own gains. She also fulfilled society's perception of beauty and proved just how much of an advantage one gains when viewed as beautiful.
