I like the conspiracy of everyone being lied to about what Terra Nova is in reality. It just seems so predictable. You just almost assume Dr. Shannon got the money to free Jim from the people behind the conspiracy as a pay off to be a spy for the "Sixes". Jim will hear that Terra Nova is evil about controlling the future (not saving it) and join the Sixes and it will be a Jim Shannon versus Nathaniel Taylor kind of showdown.
I hope there is much more to it or I am completely wrong and the plot in the next episode or two unfolds in ways I don't expect. Preferably with less Dino-eye-sores (credit to Clyde) since they are just unneeded poorly animated distractions.
Dammit I want a well done new-Earth type series that lasts for a while. Love the genre when well done.
I saw the the first two episodes and thought it was a bit slow, but enjoyed it. More so than Terra Nova honestly. The problem was I heard it was cancelled before I watched any more episodes and lost interest I guess.
Yes it was canceled. And a bit slow but it was on BBC American Supernatural Saturday. There isn't much on Saturday so I watch mostly BBC that night. Next Saturday is Bedlam. Don't know what that is about but I will watch it.
I like the concept of this show, but like others have commented, it feels too obvious; just from watching the first episodes I already think I know a lot of what will happen, but I'll keep watching for another 2-3 episodes atleast and see if it gets any better!
oh, you must be kidding... completely different story (inhabitants of TN are glad to be there, losties were there against their will) and less mysterious plot. also many disadvantages like weak soundtrack, not so great acting and boring characters (Taylor is a joke, American hero saving the whole planet himself... no offense, USA, there is Europe, China and other countries too :) )
I will watch this episode, maybe the next one, but if it doesn't bring anything new that can be of interest and not overly developed in other shows, then I'll drop it, sadly.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
seems like a twisted version of LOST

Really like it. But it does kind of favor the English show I was watching on Saturday nights. Darn to early in the morning. Can't remember the title.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Outcasts?

I still have to finish watching it.

ReplyDeleteIt does seem very Lost-like. I don't mind that but I would like the mystery to be resolved and not dragged on and on
ReplyDeletethe same as me :) but i watched only the first episode, i think

ReplyDeleteI liked it... Looking forward to the next one, I hope they don't delve too much into the family though!
