Thanks to www.mycoven.com for the heads up
So, you've seen the 'Supernatural' season premiere. If you're anything like us, you're probably wondering, What the hell just happened?!
Never fear, because we have more from our group Q&A with Sera Gamble and Bob Singer to shed a little light on the shocking events of the first episode.
Even though the producers were wary of revealing too much about their plans for the season so early on, there are still a few answers here to clear things up a bit.

ReplyDeleteNay mostly I thought AWESOME :P
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for this new season the Leviathans seem fascinating. I just hope Cas survives the season but that's the fan-girl in me talking.
ReplyDeleteIt really struck home with me when I saw Cas go into the church and publicly expose the Pastor who evidently was having an affair outside his marriage. Got me cuz my ex minister/husband abandoned me and the kids, paid no Child Support, got with women and is still ministering around the world. It's been an area of unrest for me to deal with, but I keep hearing God tell me "Not to worry about him, that God is with me and will take care of me/us, That it's God's business and his business to deal with- and God will not be mocked" I've had little dreams of something like what Cas did to that minister, that God would do to my ex. But I know I just have to move on, forgive for my sanity and peace, and rest in Him.
ReplyDeleteCrazy 1st ep! so much happened! whoa! loved it!
can't wait one more day!!
ReplyDeletegah! i don't know how i'm going to cope
i wish i had a time machine
it all looks so amazing, i'm so worried for cas
that article didn't mention sam at all, i'm gonna assume he makes it out ok coz i'm really worried for him
I'd like to think Castiel (as we've known him, both as angel and as God) is still alive inside Jimmy. The Leviathans could be fun enemies. And it was nice to see Lucifer again. I've missed him. I wonder if the Archangel Michael/Adam will show up this season at some point too?
ReplyDeleteMy reaction was less "What happened?" and more "Freaking yes, that rocked!" There are so many ways this season could go and if the premiere is any way to judge we are in for one fantastic ride. Generally I am excited about the premiere but after the second viewing that tempers a bit. Not so in this case. I just got more excited. Off for a third viewing but right now, if we were rerunning the favorite season premiere contest, I might have to change my vote.
ReplyDeleteI'm a minion, but I am a Moose-ke-teer and a Deangirl. It works for me. I want to see Cas survive because I like Cas. I want the friendship he had with Dean to heal. Dean doesn't have that many friends. Cas was probably his closest who wasn't his brother. I'm more worried about Sam to be honest. Is Lucifer real or in his mind? What do all of you think?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. The premier would be number 1 on my list now. It was fantastic. Yes, it did rock. I am so excited about the next one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. It should be a very interesting season
ReplyDeleteAwesome set up for the rest of the season and an awesome episode all around. For the first time since Season 5 I'm truly excited for more Supernatural. But I hope that, like someone last season was saying, they don't make these Leviathans the Old Ones from H.P. Lovecraft because I don't think they could do those monsters justice.
ReplyDeleteI loved the premiere and I'm not even a Cas fan. The S7 easily ranks among my 3 premieres. SG & RS seemed to have corrected some newbie, but well-intentioned mistakes like adding back "The Road So Far" montage set to classic rock. The S6 premiere started with Dean's nightmare and while well done seemed to set a "depressed tone" early on. This premiere hit the ground running and never stopped.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the ratings didn't reflect how awesome the premiere was but then every show on the CW was done this week.
I can't wait to see how they use the leviathans as the season progresses. Misha was truly scary right at the end when they took him over.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what my little supernatural viewing troupe was thinking after last night's episode. It was like, what just happened? I'm glad for some answers, although they still didn't say much! Gamble is keeping pretty tight lipped it seems.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell just happened --- exactly what came to my mind after Castiel leventhianed out! :p
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved the episode . I loved the special effects , cannot wait to find out more about the Leviathans and I knew that Castiel would redeem himself and I also believe that He is still in there along with Jimmy. I guess he will get to understand now how Jimmy has felt by being driven by forces not under your control. I think this is going to be the best season yet. I am so worried about Sam and I hope he is able to make it through all the Hellucinations he is having and is yet to have and come out of it stronger. That poor kid can't catch a break. I love how he was trying to act okay for Dean because he didn't want to give him another problem to worry about and also how he stood up for Castiel and said he knew Cass was in their some where and he thought that Dean shouldn't give up on him just because he was suffering from a god complex. That's my Sammy. Love this show sooo much!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I liked the premiere and as great as a setup for the rest of the season it was and as interesting as an interview this was, the one things that has me on edge a bit is the fact that - from the interview - they don't seem to have a full season plan, just ideas about where it can go.... and that can be a little dangerous.
