Well, Supernatural is #1 to us fans no matter what MTV thinks. :-) I'm just happy that MTV keeps putting them on the Top 10. That must make for a happy CW and we want them to ecstatically promote Supernatural this year. Here's hoping for a press blitz this week and high premiere numbers.
Those two always look like they're having so much fun when they're working together - even on something like this. I would pay A LOT for a boxed set of nothing but gag reels.
Would be interesting. to do so. I think we should make actual predictions and then reasonably high predictions. Obviously Supernatural is not going to get 10 million, but 3 million would be awesome. My guess is 2.65 viewers.
season 6 premièred with a 1.3 and 2.8/9 million viewers, being realistic its going to be down from that-the nature of TV and all-I'm going to predict a 1.1/1.2 and 2.6 million viewers. I think thats pretty fair/reasonable and would be pretty decent for a show in its 7th season on the CW on a Friday night.
If we can average at least a 0.9 in the demo which is all that matters then we have a good chance of a season 8.
That's definitely a fair guess. I was looking at last year's ratings too. I guess it will depend on how Secret Circle, Ringer, and Heart of Dixie go this year. Supernatural will definitely have to get higher target demo ratings than 90210 and Gossip Girls, which I don't think will be back next year unless they actually improve their ratings. If SPN can hold a 1.0 in demos I would say it guarantees a season 8. Anything lower and things get iffy.
This is pretty funny! I love it when the guys just get together and have fun with the interview! I hope that this helps with the ratings like Dahne said, it would nice to grab up to 2.5 .3 million viewers and as long as we hold a solid 1.0-0.9 this season we've got a definite season 8, another good sign is that from the talk from the stars, directors, producers and writers, everyone is already thinking about a season 8 soas of right now everyone's hopes are high (including mine)!
How can you possibly not love BOTH of them????? They're like "conjoined twins"!!! If it weren't for that beautiful friendship in real life and their amazing chemistry, I don't think the show would have the same success! One thing I know for sure is that I enjoy it 1000 times more because of this friendship!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Only 2? That season opening deserves no. 1.
ReplyDeleteDefinetly deserves no 1! Would also love to have like 5 gag reels on every dvd box of Spn^^
