Whoa! Cannot wait until Friday!
ReplyDeletePoor Sammy :'(
ReplyDeleteSo much packed into a 15 second promo :D
ReplyDeleteFriday can`t come fast enough for me !
ReplyDeleteI hoped they would have showed Castiel in this promo.
ReplyDeleteWow that was an intense little promo. I'm just so thankful that hellatus is over and now it's only a one week wait. Although these eps are promising to be so intense and awesome, that I'm still waiting on the edge of my seat in anticipation. Friday just can't come fast enough.
ReplyDeleteIt's little odd that the used the previous title card though I like that one better than the new...
ReplyDeleteAfter a cliffhanger ending to a premiere?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want that. I'd rather wait.
;) even when the hellatus is over every week is still a mini hellatus...come faster friday please ;-;
ReplyDeleteIf the premiere episode is any indication of what Season 7 holds we're in for one HELL of a ride fandom!! It was probably the BEST premiere EVER. I think the new blood in the writers room is going to be nothing but a huge bonus for us. I also think that Sera has had some time to settle into her new position. I think she did a great job with her writing in episode 1. I'm truly looking forward to this season. Episode 2 looks just as good.
ReplyDeleteEven just a glimpse of him.
ReplyDeleteSeason 7 just sounds better and better. Poor Sam and his hellcinations. I think this episode is going to be intense and I can't wait to see how they fix a problem that doesn't involve killing it.
ReplyDeleteOn White Collar, the fans didn't like the main title sequence so the show runner had a vote and they changed it back to the old one. I wonder if that could happen here. Not that it is a big deal, but I really liked the glass breaking.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this promo to pieces, and Emmy is actually a close friend of mine. :D I have to say that my heart is just splintering for poor Sam right now... as soon as Dean says "You seeing him right now?" and Sam gives that heartbreaking little nod, I could fully understand why Jared said that Sam has so much self-doubt it's crippling. I felt like going to my knees and doubling over for him... I honestly did. I have a feeling this episode might make me cry. The premiere nearly did a couple of times! lol ^^; Why can't tomorrow be Friday and not Monday? lol :P
ReplyDeleteGreat promo!! Sam going insane will be very interesting to watch and BETTER yet it looks like there will be some serious h/c and big bro Dean. This fangirl is going to be one happy camper on Friday
ReplyDeleteI love the new title card, I don't see anything wrong with it... why do you guys not like it? I promise I'm not starting an argument I'm just curious! :)
ReplyDeleteOf corse its going to be intense! When was the last time one of the brothers pointed a gun at eachother anyways? :) I love the way this season is going! The premier is the best we've had in a long time and its only the beginning of the season! Woo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteHallucifer is having way too much fun. lol
ReplyDeleteI think it's mainly a color thing. I just really loved the blue and the glass. It's probably my favorite of all. But I don't hate the new one. It's just simply not my favorite...
ReplyDeleteAW! love me some sammy
ReplyDeletei love the new title cause the big bad is actually a sea monster in the bible so it kind of dark like the sea monster
ReplyDeleteOk... I guess Im just one of those people who always loves the new stuff :)
ReplyDeleteLast time Sam pointed a gun at Dean: Asylum and he shot him with rock salt. Guessing this time the gun isn't non-lethally loaded though. >_<
ReplyDeleteThe glass shattering thing was cool and looked really great but as a visual it never really explained itself in the context of the show. Consider that most of the other title cards have always had a direct relation to what was going on during that season. 2 was the red with the pentagram and fire (the fire Azazel started that was the reason for Sam's powers, and the beginning of it all), 3 the purple storm/demon clouds (the devils gate had been opened and demons were around in hoards, we saw those purple demon cloud storms a few times in the season), season 4 white bg black crows and feathers scattering (angels introduced), white bg with blood splatter (might have been more appropriate in S4 when Sam was sucking demon blood but blood still applied in S5 as Sam was continually tempted and eventually had to drink the blood to be lucifer's vessel, also the episode I thought it worked the best for was Dark Side of the Moon cause the title card was the transition after Dean got shot and it was just like BOOM! *blood splatter!*
ReplyDeleteBut S6 title card what did the shattering, icy blue, glass actually mean? You can go round and round on the metaphorical meaning but that's really all it was good for is metaphor and allegory. The point of the whole season was that Cas wanted to get into purgatory but he didn't bust a window to do so. So then we could take it as meaning that Dean's domestic life was shattered by Sam reappearing, or that the cage was broken into to get Sam free (twice once by Cas and once by Death) and we know that the devil is cold and freezes things which could cause them to shatter (but we never saw the devil -_-), we could say that the shattered window represented Sam's shattered state of being, that he was torn apart because he had no soul for half the season and was still sort of in pieces because of the wall for the second half until the wall got busted. All of these and more could be applied to the title cards' meaning but really it didn't mean much of anything when applied in context. It was just there, cool as it was it neither meant or represent anything in the show unless you worked out some sort of meaning or metaphor for it.
I like this one because from the new promo it looks like S7's title card goes back to being directly related to something actually in context. I thought the title card looked cool during the premier but again feared that's all it was there for is to look cool again like S6's title card. Thank goodness for the context being applied again.
I know-if only the sneak peek could have lasted just a few more seconds! I absolutely cannot wait until Friday gets here! Now, if only my week and my forever broken heart would get better life would be normal again...
