I liked the premiere Lucifer better than any season 5 Lucifer. This is a head trip worthy of Satan. Just as long as we don't learn that the last season was all in Sam's head. :-)
Yes, it's the same... I paused my way through it and it is Lucifer that appears behind Bobby and Dean changes to Lucifer... I don't really understand the car falling, but it looks like it is falling on Dean (?) - that may be Lucifer also, but I am totally psyched...
When Sam pulls the gun on Dean he looks totally freaked! CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Our poor Sammy! I am so glad that the season is starting off this way with it being Sam centric. Jared finally gets some decent time to be in the spotlight for a change. I am not taking anything away from Jensen-I love both of the guys-but the fact that the cage and Hell arc is still going on and was not stopped after season 6 gives us a chance to see what it was like for Sam since he spent so much more time down there than Dean did. I hope no one is going to be disappointed this season because it is already off to a fantastic start! This episode is going to be so awesome!
When Satan showed up what came to my mind is "say hello to my little friend." I was surprised to see him back. Great move tho...going to love this season. I know it already.
The part where Dean sort've shifts into Lucifer and he's smiling... I don't know why but I find it to be funny. I like season 7 Lucifer, even if he's just a figment of Sammy's imagination!
I think that it's possible that Lucifer (who is the master manipulator and can also make himself look like anybody/anything) maybe have used Dean's face against Sam while he was suffering in the cage. Probably one of Lucifer's own torture methods used against Sam. Now that the wall is down, Sam is pretty damaged by it all. The memories are in full force and confusing Sam thus hallucinations are happening and throwing him off even more. Lucifer may have made Sam see visions of Dean hurting him or torturing him or possibly hurting people he loved, and being in reality with Dean and with the memories so thick, they're clashing together and confusing Sam, making Sam believe he's still in Hell when he isn't. Does that make sense or did I just further confuse you? lol
It doesn't look as though they'll be adding any twist or anything unexpected to Sam's wall storyline so I'm glad it will only last for a handful of episodes.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI motherfudging love that Mark Pellegrino is back !!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just rewatched this and OMG DO THEY SHOW BOBBY GETTING STABBED????? Its prob Sam hallucinating, but its still not gonna be good if thats the case
ReplyDeleteJudging from what I see it's Dean stabbing Bobby and they're both smiling. I'd think it's safe to say it's a hallucination.
