as you may know we're always looking out for ways to promote the site and in order to reach more people we've teamed up with GetGlue.
What is GetGlue?
For those of you who don't know what GetGlue is, here is the official blurb from their site:
GetGlue is a leading social network for entertainment. Users check-in and share what they are watching, listening to and reading with friends; get fresh recommendations, exclusive stickers, discounts and other rewards from GetGlue partners.
In simpler words:
You check-in to TV Shows, movies, topics etc. and can earn real physical stickers for that. Every four weeks and everytime you reach 20 stickers you can have them send to you. The networks that have partnered with GetGlue are ABC, The CW, NBC, Showtime, HBO, FOX, TV Land, SPIKE and more. Only CBS is missing so far. Basically you can get stickers for all shows on those networks plus many more for music artists and movies. Currently there are about 3400 stickers in their database and they usually add new ones every day. I can only recommend the site for every TV/Media junkie!
How can you promote the site on GetGlue?
You may have noticed that we've added a little widget on the right side above the dropdown menu.
All you have to do is click on the little Check-in and a popup will appear. If you are not logged in to GetGlue you can either create an account or connect via Facebook right there.
If you already have an account and are logged in you can add a little text, choose if you want to share it with your Facebook or Twitter friends and check-in.

ReplyDeleteWasn't sure where to ask about this but I've lost like 1300 badgeville points over night is there some knd of issue with it?
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a bug the devs are aware of. Should be all fixed in a day or so and all points will go back to normal :)
