  2. Very cool video. Really hoping this show doesn't suck and does well.

  3. Goodwin says that the curse is that the characters don't remember who they are or who they loved.  I think it's enough of a curse that the witch trapped everyone in a podunk town in Maine.

  4. It's funny, but I don;t think it's difficult to describe at all.....

  5. Right.  It's not difficult to describe but it may be difficult for a lot of people to accept this as a premise.  I, along with ABC, are hoping people are willing to go with it.

I try to support serialized television as much as I can.  I'm just so burned out on procedurals.

  6. I guess I have just seen it more than a few times before. Off the top of my head I know it was a Charmed episode plot and the movie Enchanted, but I know I've seen it in other films or series...

Yeah me too.I think consistently the best made series (by far) are serial series.
That doesn't mean episodics cannot be fun and entertaining as hell..... just that they don't go into the characters or the stories on the same level as serialized series. So much more can be done if you have one major plot for the entire season compared to 12-23 or so plots.

Genre elements are all over the TV screen these days but what I was referring to specifically was asking an audience to watch a show that blended Disney-fied fairytales into a serious, dramatic premise.  Even Enchanted was way closer to the whimsical side of things.

A show like this really asks a lot of its audience.

  8. This looks like such a great show, I love fairy tale/fantasy shows. I loved charmed and I loved the 10th kingdom and I'm sure I will love this one.
