Wow all the oldies but goodies. Sadly tho..don't know if I can watch it. Went to a horse race. Honestly they say the horses love it but I was traumatized for life. I felt so bad for the horses.
Horses who don't want to run don,t perform or don't even start, I saw many time horses who stayed in the starting gate cause they didn't felt like running that day or good horses who decide to stay behind cause they don't feel like running on one day. And if jockey are brutal, they have $$$ to give, suspension and everything, lot of reglementations. You'll see a LOT of horses who clearly are enjoying themself, like Declan's Moon who was just having fun, letting horses catch him, ears up, brillants eyes and never winning by much cause he loved to let others horses believed they could win
don,t forget about the millions of dollar in research to make track safer, millions to find cure about lamintins, millions spend in rehabilitation of retired horses, millions to save horses from slaughter and millions spend in taking care of injured horses, a LOT of that coming from the differents organisations made by the FOB. You can add to that the quest of the FOB to stop slaughter. We're not in the '30 anymore, time has changed for racing
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Mann, Milch, Nolte, Hoffman and HBO. Yes, yes, yes yes, and yes!
ReplyDeleteYep, just what I thought! And the promo looks amazing. WOW!
ReplyDeleteExactly. Hope it can live up to those expectations.
ReplyDeleteHigh hopes for this, but I heard that there was some serious drama behind the scenes. In short, David Milch was kicked out of the production of pilot.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I can't wait for this show to begin!
ReplyDeleteSounded good on paper... looks great in trailer form. Now let's hope the series improves or at least lives up to the trailer!

ReplyDeleteWow. This is the first I've heard of it. But I like what I see, and they certainly know how to attract talent. ;) On the to-watch-list it goes.
ReplyDeleteDarn it. I was (and maybe still am) REALLY looking forward to this but that trailer was all show and no substance.
ReplyDeletelooking good :) They kept on showing that promo during the airing of the Breeders' Cup
