"I LOVE CRABS, I LOVE BOILING DENIM, & I LOVE BANGIN' WHORES!"
The gang is back, guys and even heavier than ever! In the season 7 opener, it seems like we get a little bit of everything: Life-altering diagnoses, plans for each of the characters to start new chapters in their lives, a marriage proposal, a woman being repeatedly covered in increasingly excessive amounts of blood, a new calling for Sweet Dee, a trash bag of chimichangas, and last but not least the death of a loved one! On any other show it'd be depressing as hell, but somehow each and every scene remains just as inappropriately hysterical as it always has been. Fat Mac works (thankfully, because gaining that much weight just to have the jokes fall flat would be unfortunate) and it's great to see that even 7 seasons into the misadventures of the gang, none of them have even grown the slightest bit in the least! They're all still self-obsessed and bumbling morons, but that's what we love them for, right?
SEASON 7 OF IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA PREMIERES TOMORROW ON FX!
"WHAT'RE YOU COCKS LOOKIN' AT?"
Over the course of the next few days I will continue the coverage of Season 7, so keep an eye out for the next review(s)!
I give this episode FOUR OUT OF FIVE CHIMICHANGAS.

Who else is excited!?
ReplyDeleteI can't be the only one!
Oh, hell yes. This show is pure genius and it is ignored during award season every year. Kaitlin Olson should have a shelf full of Emmys by now.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! This whole cast is unbelievable! Easily one of the very best comedies of all time. :D
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
ReplyDeleteWhile comedies like The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family get all the acclaim and the awards, it's Always Sunny that's doing the best work.
Always Sunny is the only sitcom to successfully adopt the Seinfeld concept (a show about nothing or, more accurately, a show about friends who are the most selfish, self-absorbed, anti-social dicks you'll ever meet) and take it to its ultimate extreme.
Being able to make a group of such horrible, awful people likeable is an amazing accomplishment.
I definitely agree. When I describe the show to people they're like "Seinfeld?"
ReplyDeleteKitten mittens!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the headline I was already jealous, because I thought Wilson got the chance to watch the episode already...
ReplyDeleteIncredibly pumped for s7. Just rewatching the show and just reached s6, can't wait for the premiere!
ReplyDeleteIt has often been said the Sunny is Seinfeld on crack.
ReplyDeleteMeeeee-OWWWWWW... ;)
ReplyDeleteI did. >:)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that is the perfect way to describe it. Especially since half of the characters ARE on crack. lol
ReplyDeleteStupid... Didn't watch properly (as usual in the morning), but I thought it's a review done by another website. So now I am officially jealous.
ReplyDeleteDon't you have Adam on G+? He asked who wanted to watch :)
ReplyDeleteI have him, but he doesn not have me and so I guess I can't see his stream.
ReplyDeleteAh, drop him an email at adamdharris@spoilertv.com and get him to add you :)
ReplyDeleteNormally I send these out and I have the whole team on my Circles but I was away.
