Better late than never: my thoughts on this week's Hawaii Five-O. The show has tried for a second time to introduce a new female regular - what did you think of Lori? Keep her, dump her, or wait and see?

  1. I think we should wait and see.  I mean one show does not an actor make.  Of course, they could hire Kate from Lost.  Wouldn't mind that so much at all.

  3. I don't hate her, but I am not sure that I like her either.

  4. I say give her a chance to grow into the role.  She has definite potential.

  5. Dump her!  As soon as humanly possible.  No chemistry with Steve or the team, flat and wooden delivery, character is a cliche and the scenes that were supposed to be flirtation or double entendres felt forced and very uncomfortable.  I cringed most of the time she was on screen.  I hope they don't keep trying to force her down our throats like they did last night.  Danny was a third wheel and Chin was the only one concerned with Kono.  Very wrong.  There was no team or ohana feel.  Even Steve was out of character with the talk with Jenna and with Lori as well as the forced flirting with a team member.  That is wrong in every way.  Not professional, plus no chemistry.  Wasn't the same show that I expect and want to see.  Bromance not romance!

  6. I agree I didn't like the flirting.  It didn't feel right to me.  I also think the guys should have been with Kono.  Yeah I know they were working a kidnapping with a time limit, but at some point Steve and Danny should have been with Chin confronting the IA guy or with Kono as she watched the press conference.  Not standing in the office with Lori.  It wasn't right.  I get they want to bring in some new people to lighten the work loads of the others, but Alex worked more last night then he did in the season premiere.

  7. Oh come on give her a chance. Besides there was no flirting! McGarrett is a guy, so of course he checks her out. And her? Of course she would check him out, I mean wouldn't you? McGarrett is an attractive man, I would check him out. But that was all there was. Don't make more out of what it was.
I like her and I don't think that McG was out of character at all, he always showed concern for his team-mates, that includes Jenna. He is very perspective about such things, was the whole season and it was right on the money for him to pick up on her odd behavior. Maybe he is even suspious about her. We'll see.

  8. Not once did he ask about Kono or call Kono to find out how she was.
