  3. exactly, Derek has this holier than thou complex, which he needs to get off of.  No ones is perfect everyone makes mistakes, but she didn't go into it maliciously like im gonna screw Dereks trial.  She tried to help the other male figure that's close to her save his wife.  The crazy thing is if it were Meredith is Adele's place would Derek have done the same thing?  His reaction seems to like he wouldn't and would just wait, but considering how tour up he was when she drowned and wanted to do anything to save her life, in his heart of hearts he would have tampered with the trial to save Merediths life in that moment too.

  4. Man, he is being SUCH a douche. I do sort of understand where he's coming from with being angry but she's his wife and she was trying to help someone she cared about.

  11. I kind of laughed at him when Meredith explained to him that she sees the world as complex as it is and not just in terms of right and wrong and he replied that he can't raise a child with someone who doesn't see the world divided between right and wrong... i rather have my child raised by a mom who understand the complexity of the world... By the way why does he think those are mutualy exclusive, understanding the complexity of the world doesn't mean one has no notion of what's right and what's wrong...

  12. i completely agree, simply put Derek is delusional, just millions of ppl in the world who think things are so cut and dry.  But its not the case eventually they learn but its typically a hard pill to take.

  13.  i am just really tired of them writing derek like that.  i used to really, really like derek.  but now they make him extremely childish . . . he won't even speak to her about their marriage?  i mean come on, really?  he holds a grudge worse than anyone i have ever known. grow up.  she screwed up.  its not like she became this way, she has ALWAYS been this way. i was really bothered that they didn't have him have any compassion for her when she was fired. . . i mean, its her career, yeah, you are mad, but she is your wife and you love her, have some compassion . . . talk to the woman. either work it out or move on . . . but do something!  i really hope they don't carry this terribly long, but it sounds like they do to at least epi 4 as that is the male episode in which they bond over their mutual woman frustrations.  ok, i have rambled enough. :)

  14. I agree with you.  Thats why I love this show b/c its really true to normal life.  Their are guys out their who think they are flawless but are so childish and unforgiving. Ive known some ppl like Derek its annoying but its definitely a slice of life.

  15. The funny thing is that Derek's mother (in season 5, the episode with the death-row patient) thought that Meredith was good for him because she could appreciate the grey areas of reality, beyond what seems to be just right or wrong. At the time Derek couldn't understand how she could feel some compassion for a serial killer, but his mother found that a valuable side of Meredith's personality. Well, I wonder what she would say about her son's unforgiving attidude now.

  16. To quote Mer from season 6...McDreamy is being a McAss!!They've both made mistakes before and gotten past them. Don't you think that since their future with Zola is on the line, he'd man up and stop being such an ass? Come on Derek, if this is the last season for MerDer scenes...why can't they be good ones???

i'm sure that if Derek was there when Adele asked "Ellis" (meaning Mer) to give her husband back,Derek would be the first to give Adele the drugs...
You know this is why I've lost faith in Greys.Because when they make a step forward then they make twen steps backwards! And  this is all Shonda Rhimes fault!
