Bones - Season 7 - Casting News - Andrew Leeds cast as new Baddie

Starting a family may not be the biggest challenge for Booth and Brennan during Bones' seventh season.

The Fox drama has cast Andrew Leeds (Dirt, Nip/Tuck) as this season's big villain, Christopher Pellant, TVGuide.com has learned. The character is described as a genius "hacktivist," who landed on the FBI's radar when he shut down military communications by cracking into both the Senate and the Defense Department's websites. Now under house arrest, the team is baffled by Pellant's ability to seemingly carry out a murder spree without setting off the alarm on his ankle monitor.

As we first reported, the likely recurring character will be introduced in the final episode of Bones' shortened fall run. (The show is taking an early break because of Emily Deschanel's real-life pregnancy.)

"This is someone who is an extremely odd and fearless foe," executive producer Stephan Nathan told us, comparing the character to such past serial killers as Gormogon and the Gravedigger. "[He's a] nefarious character, who we will follow for a little bit this season and perhaps next.

  1. Ok, who is Andrew Leeds?  Is he the Demon from Charmed?  Now that would be so cool!!!!

  2. I didn't see charmed on his imdb page but there a lot of other shows like castle, the mentalist and the closer so he's been around but I don't recognize his face.

I can see him making an excellent Baddie!

  4. I just know I'm going to dislike this character, but not in the "love to hate him/her" sort of way like The Gravedigger or Jacob Broadsky.  I can't think of a more grating character type than a self-righteous techie sociopath.

  5. Not sure how this villian will turn out in the shorten season but I guess will find out, thanks for the posting
