Hey Guys,

On what was the quietest day yet in the character competition Daenerys Targaryen and Jack Bauer managed to see off the competition of Mary Shannon and Sheldon Cooper to reach R2. Worthy of note is Jack's five vote win over Sheldon in a poll which for much of the day had appeared to be heading to The Big Bang Theory rather than 24...

Today sees Teresa Lisbon of The Mentalist challenging Pheobe Buffay of Friends in a battle for a place in the next round. We also make it a 100% female day at the polls with Kate Austen of mystery show LOST challenging Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl.

The prediction competition now only has 3 people with perfect brackets, those people being Todd German, Panos Nestoras and well known STV friend Dahne who for a long time in the show competition looked set to challenge for the overall win. Worthy of note is that the victor of the previous competition, Sergey Sevostianov is currently only one point off the lead. Can he make it a miraculous double? To see your bracket score head HERE

For anyone new to the competition the rules are simple. Every day there will be a new set of polls between characters who are bidding to become the winner of the second STV Character Competition.

All you have to do is to vote for whichever characters are your favourite and at the end of the 24 hours whichever character has more votes will be the winner and will progress into the next round. There are three rounds before the quarter finals, semi finals and then the final...
