Whitney - Jane Kaczmarek Joins Cast

Former Malcolm In the Middle star Jane Kaczmarek has joined the cast of NBC's upcoming comedy series Whitney as a recurring.

Kaczmarek will play Whitney's outspoken mom who has been married several times. Beverly D'Angelo played the role in the pilot, and those scenes will now be reshot.

    The ealry sneaks were pretty bad (the laugh track..ugh), and then I watched the NBC prview show hosted by Whitney and her costar, and the only funny parts were whenever they weren't onscreen... so still very much a pass for me.
