Two and Half Men - Season 9 - Casting News - Judy Greer to join

CBS has already revealed that Ashton Kutcher's Two and a Half Men character is heartbroken, and now we know who's to blame. Judy Greer has signed on to join the cast of Men in a recurring role as Kutcher's soon-to-be ex-wife.

Greer will play Bridget, who's in the process of divorcing Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt (Kutcher). She'll be seen in several episodes of the show.

Having broken up with his wife, Schmidt buys the home of the recently deceased Charlie Harper (as you've probably read by now, it's true: Charlie Sheen's character is dead). But Schmidt is so needy that he convinces Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) and his son Jake (Angus T. Jones) to stick around.

    Hmmm...  I wonder if there will be a meta joke about how much this "Bridget" looks like Herb's sister, Myra...

    I've liked Greer in the things I've seen her in, and I have to say I'm slightly more excited about her joining that Kutcher.

    That's a definite casting plus for the show - better than Kutcher.  It's a bit weird though to think that someone is going to be needier than Alan.

    seriously a needy grown man, ask the relatives of the deceased persons home ur buying to stay with u.  Already i dont care for the connection.

    it has always seemed as if they don't bother with the casting choices. 
    April Bowlby played a role of Kimber before she became recurring as Kandi, Jennifer Bini Taylor played one night stands since the pilot ep (the chick in the supermarket) before finally becoming regular as Chelsea, Charlie's fianceé.
    Judy Greer played Herb's sister in season 4 and now is going to play Kutcher's character's soon-to-be-ex. 
    They're all great actresses but that doesn't mean there are no other hot & talented women to be hired that could also play these perfectly. But oh well, doesn't really matter, does it :D
