John Barrowman and Eve Myles have both expressed enthusiasm for a Torchwood movie.

Speaking on ITV1's Daybreak, the actors also spoke about the universal appeal that they believe the show has.

When asked by host Adrian Chiles where they felt the series could progress next following its gradual transition from BBC Three to BBC One, Barrowman and Myles replied in unison: "Movies!"

  2. I'm not sure - I like the show and it could work as a film

  3. I don't know about plural. but a movie to end it rather than another season would be pretty cool!

  4. A Torchwood film presents the same problem as producing another season (series):

It all depends on RT Davies coming up with a story idea.  If he does, he'll probably use it as the basis for another set of episodes.  That being the case, the possibility for a film seems quite low.

  5. However, I read in Den Of Geek (if I'm not wrong) that Russell T Davies was OK with a Torchwood movie.
