Titanic : Blood and Steel - 4 actors in negotiations to star

Kevin Zegers, Chris Noth, Derek Jacobi and Neve Campbell are in various stages of negotiations to join the $28-million, 12-part British/Canadian Co-Production, it was announced that Shaw Media would air in Canada in Midseason on either GlobalTV or Showcase.

    A tv show, about Titanic... probably very dramatized too by the sound of that cast list and title. Please like we need any more drama related crap centered on the tragedy of the Titanic.

    Seriously, what's with this stupid as hell habit of naming things with "Blood and" at the front of it. Blood and Chrome, Blood and Sand, Blood and Steel.

    For Spartacus is made sense, for BSG it was a little odd, and for Titanic is just sounds retarded. It can't be that difficult to think up a somewhat original name. TV shows are ALREADY littered with episode names that reference and partly change some other names from the past. This isn't exactly a new development, but I always want to facepalm when I read the titles.

    I'm sure they can come up with a name for the show that isn't stupid.

    I've always been fascinated with the Titanic, but I have to say, with this title, this cast, and this company producing it, "Titanic: Blood and Steel" is going to be a disaster of Titanic proportions. Let's see how many actors, directors, and corporations sink.

    Hmm....like Jacobi, and Noth is okay. I've never been a fan of Campbell and Zegers. Is this supposed to be about the building of the Titanic? I can't recall if there's been anything on here about it before.

    there is alot about the titanic at the moment but its one very interesting subject that I think can go on for a very long time even after the ship disappears forever!

    it was one thing for Hollywood to do a two day long movie mean a 3hour movie about Titanic with Leo and Kate.  But really wat exactly can they drag out into a series of a three day trip where everyone knows the damn ship sinks.  What they gonna do start from the very beginning when the guy gets the idea to build the damn ship; then goes into the planning stages and so on and so on... I rather not thanks
