Thanks for making this post mate!
ReplyDeleteHahaha... wow. What a review of the Podcast. I take it that it was a little long for you :P This one wasn't even the longest one we did...
ReplyDeleteIn the future download it onto your iphone/ipod and listen when you're in the car/bus/train etc etc... It's quite fun to listen too whilst other things are going on!
Thanks for the summary... cool to see a breakdown like this. I do need to watch Suits and The Good Wife
Awesome comments on the podcast. Glad you enjoyed it. If you love Fringe you should definitely keep listening as we will be covering it a lot over the next season!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in! Make sure you get people to subscribe to the podcast on itunes too, it makes us feel special :P
If I didn't do that I would've lost my mind. I don't travel far enough or often enough to listen to it in a car, but I could totally do that while at work.
ReplyDeleteEither way, I hope I got all the themes that were in there. O.o I zoned out a few times.
Theme thing at bottom.
ReplyDeleteI love your site, it has really enhanced my TV experience. I visit several times a day, and I follow you guys on tumblr, and since my recent tweet obsession , twitter. So thanks a lot, it really is a fantastic site. I've been sticking around since early Fringe season 3.
Out of the shows you all discussed, the only one I watch is Fringe. Loved the theories and Mr. Calendar. I agree, think Observer Peter at the panel was mostly tongue-in-cheek. I think Peter's totally gone, no coming back as someone else. I trust the writers to keep us happy, and I believe Peter will fight his way through the fabric of space and time to come back to us!
As for your comments on other shows, whatever I did know I totally agree. True Blood always blegh to me. Commercials were always black, white and red. I'm not squeamish in the least, but I don't like unnecessary gore in my shows. Plus, since the Twilight rave, vampires just put me off.
Harry Potter, big fan! Re-read all the books before the seventh. I was never really a fan of the movies, so I'm not that sad. As far as I'm concerned, I can just re-read the books and I'm not a muggle anymore.
I felt with the eight movie, it was more for the book fans, than the movie fans, but they pulled it off. As for the not so action packed end, the end battle was in the Great Hall I think in the book. They left out a lot of the explanation of HP sacrificing himself, and Voldemort not being able to kill anyone, but they would have never managed to put that in the movie without making it sound lame. As for the epilogue , if the left that out fans would be FURIOUS! I know I would. I did find the names lame, but it had to be done, wouldn't have been the same without it. And I love the A.S.P. thing! I never noticed, but that makes a lot of sense.
I'm not much of movie fan, love my shows more. I'll watch if it has someone I really really like. As for the summer movies, I'm quite tired of the superhero movies!! And now I'm hearing about a Spiderman remake, they can't do that!!!!
Loved Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog =] and hell yeah, I'll only be checking out Cowboys and Aliens for Olivia Wilde!!!!! Sniff, nothing against Laurence Fishburne, loved him the Matrix, but CSI sucked with him on, and I hope Ted Danson being on doesn't do the same.
I shall be honest ;) . I knew Fringe, it's one of my favourite shows. I guessed Game of Thrones, I don't watch the show, but from what I know I could guess with the clashing and music. I did double-check it on YouTube. True Blood, commercials on TV. Dexter, again a guess from what I know about the show, the squishy sounds, and your podcast description =) , but I didn't double check so I may be wrong. And I saw the 24 and Supernatural in a comment by accident. Would have got 24, not too sure about Supernatural. I'll pull myself out then since I technically didn't guess, but I really enjoyed the podcast, I shall keep track of it!
