Hey Everyone, hope everyone is enjoying what is left of their summer. I thought I'd take this opportunity to introduce you all to a new feature coming to Spoiler TV with myself and fellow podcast host and Site Community Manager Adam. Spoiler TV Flashback.
The idea is simple, take some of the popular TV shows and Film trailers and look at them in more detail. Looking for clues and hidden features that may help us to understand what will be coming up on the next episode or film. Once the new TV season starts we will be looking at the promos for all of the major shows on STV and any big film trailers that have been released.
To get the ball rolling we have just recorded our first flashback for "The Walking Dead:Season 2 Trailer" which will hopefully be edited and ready in next few days. If you have any ideas or suggestions on what you would like to see on this feature, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing you comments.
Regards

Is this going to be similar to Doctor Who TV's "trailer breakdown?" They take stills from the trailers and analyze the clips in detail.

Cool, sounds like another fun feature
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! It works better for shows with heavy mythology, such as Fringe or DW, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it!
Every time I think SpoilerTV couldn't get any more awesome it does :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. :) most of the shows I watch already have built in rabid fanbases that analyze (and then overanalyze) all the footage we get, but to have it in a more distinguished presentation will probably be a more effective tool.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great new feature and i'm looking forward to it, Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteit actually going to be in video format and we freeze scenes and magnify them etc and talk about them.
ReplyDeletethanks. Well we are hoping its going to be popular :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I can't wait to see what comes of it.
ReplyDeletewell that was the idea i had other day and discussed it with adam and we thought lets go for it. Took us an hour to record for a 4 min trailer and i've took 3 hours editing it making sure the video quality was good and matched the audio.
ReplyDeleteCan you guys see if you have the time to do a flashback for the Dexter Season 6 trailer, too?
ReplyDeletethis sounds like a pretty cool feature...cant wait!
ReplyDeleteSo a relatively similar purpose with video and commentary. This should be a lot of fun, especially for shows like Fringe and DW (like Julia Albuquerque mentioned) and it would be good for Dexter too.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea .. is it gonna be for specific shows or are all shows here going to be part of this feature?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm looking forward to this.....
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the cartooned team!
Is it sad I knew that was Adam on the left as soon as I looked at the picture? Guess I've never seen CJ so I can only assume the other one on the right is you and not an unshaven James Roday from Psych... just saying....
Cool. Great idea
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff guys. Looking forward to this.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great idea :D
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun. I sure hope so.
ReplyDeleteTV and movie version of Rewind Theater by IGN.com? I like it!
ReplyDeleteyes that is a cartoon version of me on the right. i just thought it would be a cool addition
ReplyDeletethe plan is to have seperate videos for each tv show promos. We will look at the most interesting promos and then analyse them
ReplyDeleteSo, I just noticed that the really funny picture actually looks like you Adam (and so I imagine that the other one looks like CJ). I'm very amused. Also, cool new feature!
ReplyDeletereally cool :)
ReplyDeleteSounds great, Adam. Please post any and all Fringe trailers so we can all study them!
ReplyDeleteWill be looking for MANY Fringe trailers in your new feature.
ReplyDeleteMe and Adam are big on fringe and we will be doing Fringe promos every week without a doubt
ReplyDeleteGood stuff fellas! CJ, we might be able to create a feed for the podcast...lets chat about it.
