Are you saying that they're awful AND you'll be watching? How is Combat Hospital? I always try to support/watch Canadian TV, but after the first 2 episodes I thought that I was going to explode. Any better now?
Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Scripted TV crack is what it is. I know it's bad for me but I can't stop.
Combat Hospital manages to take the potentially riveting and action-packed subject of wartime trauma surgery and makes it seem like you're watching paint dry. No, it's no better now. Sorry.
Man, we've got to get you off that stuff. Is it the week to week excitement of seeing an episode with the whole world for the first time? I usually try to avoid summer TV and concentrate on catching up on other shows I haven't seen yet. I just finished Scrubsl, started Castle and the West Wing, and am almost done Studio 60. While I can't help but download the episodes of terrible summer TV and watch much of it anyway, having those better shows to catch up on/look forward to during the regular season keeps me sane and off crack.
I usually don't have much to catch up on so I rewatch whole seasons right before the new seasons start. Currently I'm going back through season one of Lost Girl, the first half of the new Doctor Who season, and Fringe season 3.
It's not all bad. Hey, I finally gave up on Weeds this season so that's a start. ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
yay! repeats !
