Season 1 easily for me. I just loved the old house before all the "cuddy" crap. He's a better character when he's on his own

Or maybe just that cliffhanger :/ i gotta confess, as much as i love House all seasons kinda blend together for me, i only remember the important story parts which usually are season openers and enders other than that its just patient of the week with awesome House/Wilson bromance comedy for me. Don't judge me!

ReplyDeleteS4 for Frozen, House's Head, and Wilson's Heart. Fantastic season overall but those episodes are the ones that stand out for me.
ReplyDeleteHard to choose between 1,2,3,4. Five and Six were weak but had a couple good episodes each. Season 7 is easily the all time worst House season and possibly some of the worst stuff I've seen on tv.
ReplyDeleteEither Season 1 when it was actually something new and fresh, or Season 4 where the getting stale series was once again something new and fresh.
ReplyDeleteAfter season 4 it's gone down hill faster and faster. Mostly to do with Cuddy being featured more and more.
Season 4, I think. It was the first season that I watched and I really liked Anne Dudek as Amber Volakis a.k.a. "Cutthroat Bitch."
ReplyDeleteI liked the earlier seasons, too, but I am not sold on the story lines after season 5, to be completely honest. (Except I did like Amber Tamblyn as Dr. Masters. And House treating Cuddy's daughter like a puppy.)
Seasons 3 and 4.
ReplyDeleteSeason 5 for me because it had more of the old characters as well as the new team. Plus I loved the finale for the season, one of my favorites.

ReplyDeleteSeason 4. All the new blood and the fellowship competition was a real positive, creative shot in the arm for the show. All the stuff with Amber toward the end was great too. Plus, the episode "Frozen" with Mira Sorvino was one of the best episodes House ever did.
ReplyDeleteI voted for season 4. It was a short season because of the strike, but in my opinion, it was the most entertaining from episode to episode. I liked all the different characters that were introduced. Plus, we got to see Kutner. The season even ended with the most emotionally charged episode of any show I've ever seen on TV.

ReplyDeleteI would say my favourite season is the seventh, but it's only until the 15 th episode. So if I have to choose an entire seeason it will be season 6. I liked the way House was changing, there was something new because it was clear he couldn't go down and down eternaly. I really liked the beginning of season 7, but I don't think the exploration of the relationship was well handled. I don't like the way it ended. I'm sure the writers wanted to schock people, but they simply forgot there were people in Cuddy's house.

Tough choice between 2, 3, 5, 6, & 7. But I went with 5. In order:
ReplyDelete5: Loved House realizing he was hallucinating and overall there were some really great episodes. Mostly because of Joy, Locked in, Last Resort, Joy to the World, Under my skin, and Simple Explanation.
7: (the first 15 episodes) that's why it wouldn't be number 1, the ending was crap. Plus the writers dug themselves a hole when they decided from the get go that Cuddy and House wouldn't work. They didn't let the story and the characters decide were the story would go so it all felt contrived to serve a decision they had already made. Pity.
3: Ahh the original team, those were the good days. Thought the story arc with the policeman was interesting. I never knew how it would all end.
6 and 2 are a tie: 2 because it had great episodes like the two when Foreman got sick and contaminated, or tried to, Cameron. Plus it had the lovely Sela Ward as Stacy and that was just GOLD! Season 6 because of episodes like Help Me, 5 to 9, and Known Unknowns. Also because House had undergone a dramatic experience by being in the psychiatric hospital and it was interesting to watch.
1: Interesting cases.
4: By far the least I like. Got pretty exasperated with the whole reality-tv-show-for-picking-the-team plot. I missed the old team and was very little impressed with the new one. The only thing that saved this season for me was the finale. House's Head and Wilson's Heart are two of the strongest episodes of the whole series.
I love all of them but more especially the season 4 :)

ReplyDeleteSeason 3 hands down. It built towards a fantastic ending, whose momentum was then completely destroyed by the Season 4 premiere. I'm also a huge fan of the original cast and, post-season 3, they all got the shaft (save for Omar Epps a little... but even then, his increases screen time has mostly involved a lack of being interesting anymore).

Weird to see that season 4 is so popular. It made me stop watching the show.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of episodes I really love in Seasons 1 and 3, but 2 is my overall favourite. I think every episode was solid and even though it was pretty formulaic, except for that fantastic finale, it had some great arcs and insights in to all the characters. Autopsy, No Reason, The Mistake, All In. Just great television. :)

ReplyDeleteI remember that many people were upset because the blonde members of the team had left it. At this moment of the show, I thought the best formula will have been to change the team every season.
I think that season 7 reached the last place because it disappointed every camps :

ReplyDeleteLove seasons 1-3 but i think Season 2 edges the other two out slightly. Season 3 gets points off for Tritter. Season 4 still had good episodes, but i hated the survivor arc and didn't like any of the new team or Amber as Wilson's girlfriend. From Season 4 on it went down hill as the show focused less on House the genius and more on House the tortured soul who longed for Cuddy. Huddy just about killed the show in seasons 5-6, but at least in the beginning of 6 it was fun to watch House and Wilson live together. Season 7 has to be one of the worst things ever aired on tv. Whose idea was it to make cuddy a costar--worst tv character ever. Season 8 is such a refreshing change.. finally! Season 8 could end up being as great as the early seasons used to be.
ReplyDeleteI chose S4 for the following episodes Alone, Don't Ever Change, 97 Seconds, No More Mr. Nice Guy, Wilson's Heart (the only season finale I ever watched more than once. Actually, I watched it everyday for the entire summer - RSL should have won an Emmy).
ReplyDeleteI also loved S1 and S2 when we had grown up House and Cuddy was almost nonexistent. Loved the Son of a Coma Guy, Act Your Age, Family and Resignation in Season 3. Loved Dying Changes Everything, the one House/Wilson scene in Not Cancer, Birthmarks, Lucky Thirteen, The Greater Good, and The Social Contract in Season 5. In Season 6, I loved, loved, loved WILSON (RSL was Emmy worthy), The Tyrant, Unknown Knowns (only the H/W scenes - thank God for TiVo!), Moving the Chains, the Down Low, and H/W scenes in other S6 episodes. I did not wacth Season 7 after the TPTB said they were definitely going the Huddy crapfest route.
. It Wilson's Heart. It made me cry everytime I watched it. It was so shocking and sad.
ReplyDeleteI love Season 8 so far. It's been great. We have grown-up genius eccentric House and two great, great female characters. The TPTB finally caught up with the 21st century. Dr. Park doesn't take any shit and Dr. Adams has a little CTB in her. I love them both. Foreman as the new DoM provides great structure and context for Housian medical mystery solving. I'm looking forward to the interaction between the two remaining House Angels and oldies Chase and Taub. And the House/Wilson interaction has been great :) Transplant was by far my favorite episode.
