Great episode. I liked that at least for the time being, that the "secret" is safe as thay finally addressed one of the glaring holes in the story as to whether a plausible cover story/evidence was in place to corroborate it. I kept wondering how that would be addressed because creating that cover was not something that Mike or Harvey had expertise in. Obviously the keeping of the secret will go on as part of the overall mythology, but for now they can focus on other storylines rather than to keep on dwelling on it. Nice to see Louis get some action as well as a win and saw some development in his relationship with Harvey, although sadly he was Louis at the end... but the forward movement was good to see.
Really enjoyed this episode. I might venture to say that this was my favorite of the year so far actually. So happy they picked this one up for a 2nd season.
This show is getting really good. I am wondering now if they're going to reduce the amount of times they mention Mikes secret and get more involved in cases?
That was probably the most intense episode of Suits to date, even though the intensity petered out at the end. A few things:
- That hacker girl was personable and useful. She's recurring character material. (Also, did anyone else notice Mike checking out her ass at the end?) - They're doing a better job of keeping Donna involved. Keep it up. - Harvey was busting out some salty language in this episode. - Louis needs to show more character depth. He's either being a douche or being awkward. It's always one or the other. Even when he's trying to be sincere it just oozes awkwardness.
I liked that they showed more Louis in this episode...I actually felt horrible for him the entire time because he means well. Also, Donna is the best. And I TOTALLY saw Mike blatantly staring down at her ass. lol
And yeah this show doesn't shy away from the cursing at all.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
They really brought the heavy stuff for this episode. That poor man just died in the middle of the office. O.o

ReplyDeleteYes, I was really glad they put the Harvard thing to rest for now.

All in all, this episode turned out really well.

I don't mind the amount of Louis in this episode. I just wish the guy would show more range.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Amanda Crew's character, I hope he re-appears down the line.
ReplyDeleteThe Boy's Club were pretty cool :) When they finally worked together.
