Uneventful and kind've boring. They spent like an entire hour and a half traveling to the building and aside from the side stories that were sort've interesting, I was bored the whole time... I loved the ship and the alien at the end though. The effects were great.
I thought parts of it were good, but it felt a bit anticlimactic. And as morbid as this may sound, it would've been nice to see the 2nd Mass. have some casualties other than the really minor characters.
Liked the finale, but it could've had more points to build on for the next season and more action (but didnt have due to budget probably) but I liked it enough. I couldn't help thinking that the ending reminded me of the Close Encounters movie scenes that I've seen before.
I try really hard and I cant think of any thing that was awesome or great in these two boring episodes...What? The destruction of the Boston Alien Building? Really? over seventy minutes talking about pills and addictions just to see one small explosion at the very end? This was one of the most boring seasons finales I've ever watched...and I've watched a lot of them. These two episodes did not make me wanna wait a year for the next season of talking with few moments of action...And they still are in that damn school!!! Just move and do something!
This series is cheap...80 minutes and just one alien in a minute long scene...
People taken aboard an alien ship--it's starting to seem a little like V, and you know how long THAT lasted. Still, the episode was exciting and I voted awesome. I will be continuing to watch next season, for a while, anyway.
This was way cool, loved the ending too. You were left wondering about the 2nd Mass, did anyone survive, did they get any mechs. Whats happening with the civilians. Yes it could have been a little faster moving at parts, but at least Pope survived and Weaver. What's next for Tom? No one knew how good this show ended up been and that could have played out for the season finale. Now that season two is a go, they may pump more money into production, more effects, more battles. I for one loved it all. Can't wait for next season. Well done TNT for a great Sci Fi show. When others have fallen, this one rises high in my books.
I'm so freaking pissed right now, the first episode wasted time, second episode brought it all back. How the hell are they going to leave it like that. First episode really pissed me off espeacial after the way they left the second one. But WTF that is one of the best seasons ever. Cant wait for season 2, but i think it will be hard to follow.
I really enjoyed it. For a show that requires lots of effects and a bigger budget than I'm sure it gets it has been very solid for an opening season. Good stuff! Shame we didn't get more of the main assault on the structure, but it just about had enough action. Would have been nice to see a skitter as well...
It was alright. There was way too much "Weaver crisis" in the first hour and the second hour fizzled out at the end when Mason left with the alien. No revelations, no twists, not much character progression, and not much to think about during the 10 month hiatus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteSure some parts were slow but the effects (of the main base) and the ending were damn good in my book. Kept me excited enough for next season.
ReplyDeleteDoes this show revolves around Ben...?
