This episode was pretty good until the end when the actor who played the dad / suspect / murderer went way over the top with his performance. It was bad. On the upside, I'm glad Raydor is still trying to talk some sense into Brenda.
I've waited 6 weeks to start watching episode because the knowledge that this is Kyra Sedgwick's last season has signalled to me that she's loosing her job behind this case and I just haven't wanted to watch that. I decided to clean them off my DVR so I've been blasting through them today.
I love the kid they hired to play Tao's son. The expression on his face when Tao took down the yoga teacher was priceless. The case itself didn't grab me as much as some. But I didn't guess the bad guy. And the character stuff was great. I'm really pleased that they didn't take Brenda and Raydor's relationship to back before she applied for chief and I'm glad Raydor's had Brenda's back throughout this thing.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
DEPRESSING.
ReplyDeleteBut good. They're really amping it up this season.
Please post the promo for next week's episode!!

ReplyDeleteI liked this episode, but Brenda is going down. I hate to see my heroine be fired/forced to resign. It's starting to look that way more and more.
