ABC's "Once Upon a Time" tells the story of a bail bonds collector, Emily (Jennifer Morrison) who is sought out by her long lost son because he believes she's from an alternate universe and is the missing daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.
Their town of Storybrooke, Maine, is inhabited by many fairy tale characters in their modern-day incarnations, and the latest to join the show is "Falling Skies" star Jessy Schram, Zap2it has exclusively confirmed.
25-year-old Schram will be playing the Cinderella character in an early episode. Her impressive TV resume includes Hallmark Channel's "Jane Doe" movies and a memorable turn as Hannah on the second season of "Veronica Mars."
Also set to guest star on "Once Upon a Time" this season is "The Vampire Diaries'" David Anders as a doctor who dates Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin)

Despite being on Veronica Mars and Life (two of my all-time favorites), she does very little for me honestly. She wasn't much better on Falling skies. At least on that they can harness her to hide he rlack of acting ability....
ReplyDeleteSchram has been in a little bit of everything. I can't say that I agree with you about her ability either. Espeically after her episodes of Life on NBC.
ReplyDeleteI can barely recall her in life other than her role honestly... I need to watch it again! :)
ReplyDeleteIn her other works, I always just felt unimpressed.. nice girl, cute, too skinny .... meh. Something just felt flat to me I guess... I can't put a finger on it exactly.... Not so much that she is bad.... just not good either.
I will rewatch Life sometime soon and judge again. If you say she was better in that she probably was.... so I will reserve judgement until then... or OUaT airs.
Well, in all fairness, the roles she usually books are quite minor. They're not what anyone would consider juicy and there's only so much any actor or actress could do with those. I think her role on Life has been the most substantial part she's booked to date.
ReplyDeleteThe roles she has had have to date been fairly bland, to be fair. I have followed her career, and the only one which really tested her was that of Sherry Winger in one of the episodes of The Mentalist. She is a multi-talented lady - song writer, musician, model as well as actress - and her charity work, especially with Corazon de Vida, with whom she regularly travels to Baha, is very worthy. A role model, perhaps, rather than a star actress!
