Update: 26th September It seems like it's taken an age, but the NCIS badges are now created and ready for you to collect. For the more technical stuff and for any technical issues you have with them, head HERE but I figured this would be a good place to discuss the actual badges and how your doing in terms of collecting the badges on a more show specific level. Enjoy them :D

(p.s. some of your badgeville bades may not be working today, but don't worry, once the issue is fixed you will get all the badges you deserve!)

Time to start collecting!

Hey NCIS Fans,

We're progressing further with the Badgeville badges, and NCIS is to be the next show to have STV show specific badges, where you score points and badges for engaging in posts that are solely NCIS based. Points are scored by commenting, tweeting, facebook-like-ing and using the google+ link amongst other things...

This follows from the many shows that we have launched badges for recently. For the full list head HERE and for more information on Badgeville on STV head HERE

Of course we need to design the badges for this, and seeing as you as fans are important to us and know who is a great character on the show and who is not, we thought we'd let you pick the faces that will be on the badges.

For NCIS every major and recurring role is in one big poll, where you can vote for your top 5 characters and hopefully they will find a place in our ten initial NCIS badges... If you want to add someone not included, don't forget to write that character into the 'other' section.

Remember to vote for 5 characters and whilst your at it you can comment below on who you chose and why...

    There's no NCIS without Abby.  She's the heart and soul of NCIS and makes every other character better.  In all honesty, the first few times I was forced to watch NCIS I hated it.  I thought Gibbs was an abusive bully, Tony a one-note womanizer, Kate a whiny prude, and McGee a hopeless geek.  However, I didn't turn off USA Network one day and it was the episode where Abby had the stalker.  Through his interaction with Abby I realized that Gibbs was a protective father figure to her.  That he might be gruff but he truly loved Abby.  It made him human to me.  I started watching more regularly and every single character improved in my sight through their time with Abby.  It was like I could see them through her eyes and they became flesh and blood.  Without Abby, there would be no NCIS for me.

    Is it clever to throw in the main characters with the recurring ones? It's obvious that the main characters will always win.
