Thanks to Spartigus15 for the heads up.
Chord Overstreet, whose enrollment on Fox’s Glee screeched to a halt over the summer, will resurface — this time on the teaching end of things — on ABC’s The Middle.
In the Sept. 28 episode of the third-year comedy, Overstreet will guest-star as Ralph Wilkerson, Brick’s new, young and idealistic fourth-grade teacher whose involved teaching methods run counter to Frankie and Mike’s “more relaxed” parenting style.

Should be interesting!
ReplyDeleteGlad he latched on to another series fast. Was lame how Glee handled him. Run towards The Middle and don't look back at Glee Chord!
ReplyDeletethanks
ReplyDeleteThe latest rumour about this drama is that Chord actually turned down a 10 episode deal. So, I mean, I have no idea what the real story is, and I'm always inclined to believe Ryan Murphy douchebaggery over any other explanation, but, who knows? Maybe it was Chord's choice.
ReplyDeleteNo that's true. It just seems that you don't announce to the press a character is cut from the series and then announce later you still want that actor as part of the family. OK, so you want them to play a different part? XD
ReplyDeleteI guess I can see them wanting to demote that role but liking the actor. A better way to show that feeling would be to tell Chord first... and then once he makes his decision of whether he wants to accept a minor role after being major for a year.... then you announce his decision or a team decision.
Not Murphy. He just blurts out whatever he wants without thinking of anything down the road.
If I were Chord I would have left, but I' not fascinated by the concept of being on a hit seires either....
not surprised he got a new gig
ReplyDeleteThat's the youngest looking teacher I've seen and I work with some first years. I realize he is older than he looks but it's a good thing he isn't teaching high school.
