As with most people, my instant reaction was 'wow, he's young!' 30 in 2 days to be exact, making him the second youngest after Amanda Righetti (Van Pelt.) It will be VERY interesting to see the dynamic that emerges between him and the rest of the team...
First Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) is cast on Melissa & Joey, now Max (Michael Rady) is on The Mentalist. Who's next - Jacob Zachar, Spencer Grammar? I'm all for it!
I like it. Who knows what they can do with this? There could be an awesome storyline in this. How did he get the job, for one? Did he get it because he deserves it or because he has family in the justice system? Or is his character older than he looks and he has to fight for people's respect because of how young he looks? Will there be romantic sparks with him and any of the other characters and how will the older men on the team feel about this?In any of these situations, Jane will have a lot to work with when it comes to his mind games.
Or maybe his age has nothing to do with the casting and they just felt that he would be the best for the role.I think this is an awesome casting choice.
Oh my God! It'll be so weird watching him on The Mentalist. Especially as... CBI's new Head? Just wow. Did he finish High School already? Just kidding! :P Looking forward to see how this turns out :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
He looks like he's 5 years old and is going to be the new boss rofl.
ReplyDeleteRemind me of that guy who played Merlin XD. He's VERY young but I will wait and see. Maybe Lisbon likes younger men in charge ;)))
ReplyDeletewow! this is the new boss?? :/

ReplyDeleteWow he does look way too young for that part. Hopefully he can pull it off...
ReplyDeleteOMG! he IS young .. he's more like rookie type than a BOSS .. I hope he pulls it off
ReplyDeleteand secretly wish there's some sparks between him and certain female agent =)
This may be the first creative decision on this show that I have flat-out disagreed with. I don't like this idea at all.
