The BBC have announced they are giving The Hour a second series...

Romola Garai, Dominic West and Ben Whishaw will all return for the six episode series slated for a 2012 transmission.

The controller of BBC2 Janice Hadlow has said: "I'm delighted that Abi Morgan and the team will be bringing back The Hour for a second series. It has been a hugely impactful, much talked about programme, and the potential for plot development is very exciting."

    The first series started well, albeit a bit slowly, but the last 3 episodes were pure brilliance!

    When I started watching I thought it was well done, but it lacked something, but by episode 3 or 4 I was sucked n too.

    I am so pleased! This show was excellent, I loved all the characters, and I would love to see them on the screen again together. :))
