The worlds of NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-0 are about to collide.
Daniela Ruah’s NCIS: LA character, Agent Kensi, will cross over to fellow CBS crime procedural Hawaii Five-0 this fall, a show rep confirms to TVLine.
I didn't watch Jag so it doesn't matter to me about Terry O'Quinn. however I do love the fact that NCIS:LA and H50 are crossing over. Two of my favourite action shows.
I can't stand H50, it's awful writing & the characters are all cookies cutter & no matter how much I love NCIS: LA, I will not watch the cross over ep! I will not fall into the "get NCIS fans into H50" plan CBS has orchastratred with this.
mmm I don't really remember, but a friend of mine told me that 'McGee' appeared in JAG portraying another character... so I think it's gonna be the same... :P btw, great news! :D
Well, it is very common for cossover series to recast the same actors if they end up having long runs at least. Private Practice and Grey's love to reuse the actors as much as possible it seems.
Haven't seen much NCIS: LA, but this could be interesting idea (but I would love a Person of Interest crossover much more ::winks to Orci and Kurtzman to use there Bad Robot roots to reunite Mr. O'Quinn with Mr. Emerson and call the episode, "Odd Jobs"::
You know I can see Steve striking up a conversation about some mission he did in Israel and Ziva recognizing some details and them realizing they'd been on opposite sides. It would so result in a glaring match and challenge to a rematch :D
and what about 'using' actors in different shows? xD for me it's fun to spot them and say: oh! that was 'blabla' in that other show! but if they like someone, it's normal to 'use' him/her for another episode in another show! :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
SO NCIS: LA, H50, NCIS, and JAG are in all the same universe? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteAnd now it's a paradox with Terry O'Quinn, since he was an important character on JAG.

LOL, this is true! (I mentioned it, actually, and that still bothers me!)
ReplyDeletereally great news :)))
ReplyDeletegood news
ReplyDeleteI think it would be even better if NCIS did a crossover with H50. Except Tony would be too distracted. But I'd love to see Ziva & McGarret flirting.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this. Question for ya. Who'd win in a fight between Kensi and Steve?
ReplyDeleteIt would. Wouldn't be easy being Tony with all the girls in bikinis. I'd love to see them fight as well as flirting
ReplyDeleteDaniela just tweeted about this - should be cool!
ReplyDeleteLogistically, and story-wise, this could work. Not a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteAlso "Sturgis" was a pretty major character for seasons 7-10 of JAG, and appeared in a guest spot (as a different character) on NCIS.
ReplyDeleteSo while they do indeed share the same universe, unfortunately certain actors have made crossovers and not played the same character.
Great shows and Kensi is so cool. Can't wait.
ReplyDeletesounds interesting

ReplyDeleteWell, he's not new to this kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteTerry O'Quinn has played three different characters.... IN THE SAME SHOW. (The X-Files)
and two characters in LOST. (:

ReplyDeleteMe too. It would, and I would love to see it..

ReplyDeletecannot wait to see how that turns out !
ReplyDeleteGood exposure for Daniella but it sucks we will probably have a Kensi less episode this season.
ReplyDeleteI love that, i wish they would do a Supernatural-The Vampire Diaries crossover!
ReplyDeleteOh my God!!!! I can't wait to see this!!! I love both shows so much, this is going to be great!
ReplyDeleteCallen also have to go
