Thanks to Richard for the heads up.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Eisa Davis, who has guest-starred on series such as The Wire (as Bubbles’ sister) and Law & Order (twice as ADA Danvers), has landed the recurring role of Addy Pickett, a nurse with 15 years experience at the Alabama medical practice Bilson’s big city doc inherits in the pilot (airing Monday, Sept. 26, at 9/8c).
Described as both “warm and acerbic,” Addy unwittingly takes on the role of mentor to Zoe, and ultimately becomes a champion of the change her new boss is bringing to the tight-knit town.

Cool. I liked her on Law & Order.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I am not going to watch this show. Just doesn't seem interesting. Location tho...is great. Love the South.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been impressed with the sneak peaks so far, but it's got Tim Matheson who I really like, so I keep hoping that I'll be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I fear you may be right about this show. Pity, though, as they have quite a few good actors attached.
ReplyDeleteI get where you're coming from (some of the previews have been a tad ...disappointing) but personally I'll check it out to see if it's the Gilmore Girls/Everwoo mashup it has the potential to be! Plus the cast is quite a draw.
ReplyDeleteI will check this show out. It has sounded interesting so I will give it a shot..
ReplyDeleteidk if i will last a fan beyond the first episode....
ReplyDeleteAfter how long it took to replace Nancy Travis, I thought they'd have landed someone more recognizable than this.
ReplyDeleteSo basically she's Edna Harper from Everwood. Got it. In her pictures, she looks a little young for someone with 15 years experience as a nurse.
