Thanks to Richard for the heads up.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Eisa Davis, who has guest-starred on series such as The Wire (as Bubbles’ sister) and Law & Order (twice as ADA Danvers), has landed the recurring role of Addy Pickett, a nurse with 15 years experience at the Alabama medical practice Bilson’s big city doc inherits in the pilot (airing Monday, Sept. 26, at 9/8c).

Described as both “warm and acerbic,” Addy unwittingly takes on the role of mentor to Zoe, and ultimately becomes a champion of the change her new boss is bringing to the tight-knit town.

  1. Sadly, I am not going to watch this show.  Just doesn't seem interesting.  Location tho...is great.  Love the South.

  2. I haven't been impressed with the sneak peaks so far, but it's got Tim Matheson who I really like, so I keep hoping that I'll be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I fear you may be right about this show. Pity, though, as they have quite a few good actors attached.

  3. I get where you're coming from (some of the previews have been a tad ...disappointing) but personally I'll check it out to see if it's the Gilmore Girls/Everwoo mashup it has the potential to be! Plus the cast is quite a draw.

  6. After how long it took to replace Nancy Travis, I thought they'd have landed someone more recognizable than this.

  7. So basically she's Edna Harper from Everwood.  Got it.  In her pictures, she looks a little young for someone with 15 years experience as a nurse.
