JANE AND ALEX'S SIBLING RIVALRY HEATS UP, AND DAVE DATES A NEW GIRL WITH A STRANGE QUIRK, ON ABC'S "HAPPY ENDINGS"

"Why Can't You Read Me?" - When Jane thinks Alex is trying to steal her thunder with Jane's literacy group, their old sibling rivalry heats up. Meanwhile, Dave dates an attractive women's Lacrosse coach (guest star Bre Blair) with a strange quirk, and Penny finally gets an assistant (guest star Gina Rodriguez) and is determined to be the "cool boss," with disastrous results, on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Happy Endings" stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny.

"Why Can't You Read Me?' guest stars Meagan Fay as Barbara, Cade Dundish as the boy, Heather Fox as Ellen, Bre Blair as Kim, Clint Culp as Paul, Gina Rodriguez as Rita, Isabella Cramp as young Alex and Daisy Stoneman as young Jane.

"Why Can't You Read Me" was written by Prentice Penny and directed by Lee Shallot Chemel.

"Happy Endings" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,D parental guideline.

  3. Love that they air the last episode of season 1, but then again, why didn't they just air this one back in May?
