Episode 8.02 will see the character of Nurse Gloria who will be a new recurring nurse on the show. She will be played by Kate Mines.

    Huh, she appeared before. IMDB credits her as "Burke's Nurse". Probably the same character.

    Do we really need someone else new, though?

    I think maybe she will be an interest for Mark? I don't want it but I'm afraid she will be, or she can be an interest for Jackson, she can be someone he knew from earlier ;) and he can hook up with her ;)

    She could just be a nurse.  They usually have a few that reappear here and there along the season. I don't think they are ready to give up on the Mark-Lexie_Jackson triangle even if it seemed resolved by the end of season 7.

    Just had a new thought, I would like to see Nurse Rose come back, it's been what 2 season's since we saw her, makes sense for her to come back too. The writer's would have loads of fun with Rose back in surgery.

    But I think we've seen enough new characters and recurring roles the past 2 seasons.
