  1. Ellen Pompeo looks gorgeous and I love that this promo (and hopefully season) is kinda Mer-centric. Also, WTH Is having sex at 0:15? For a second I was worried that it was Arizona & Alex, because then there's a bit of their talk, but right now I'm sure it's Jackson...but with who?

  2. Who is having sex? Jackson and.. I think it's lexie but that isn't promo material I think.. I like that it's all about Mer, Alex and Christina. Looking forward!

  3. Maybe it's April having sex...

  4. I hate to freak people out, and I'm only 40/50% sure but it looks like Meredith, with Jackson. I really hope I'm wrong, but she looks like Meredith to me, and it fits with the "no turning back" voiceover.

  5. IMO it's either Meredith and Jackson, or April and Jackson! I'm so happy it's not someone and Alex, but so sad it could be Mer!!!

  6. I think is ex Chief Webber and Meredith´s mother, jackson is meredith´s brother

  7. That is definitely April having sex. No way would Meredith do that to Derek come on now!

It's definitely Jackson and therefore the girl should be Lexie. But it doesn't really look like Chyler Leigh. Maybe just a weird shot/angle though.

  9. Yeah Greys! Looks really suspenseful & great- cannot wait.

  10. Huh, I know the interns probably all hate Alex, but Arizona? Or maybe she's referring to the interns when she says "everyone" hates him.

  11. I really do think that the whole "hating on Alex" needs to stop. What he did sucked, yes, but that doesn't make what Meredith did OK. And it seems to me that everyone is quite conviently forgeting that. These "doctors" get away with too much, so much in fact that it's obvious why everyone is so willing to hold Alex accountable for what he's done but only Derek is giving Mer her due (and I think that's more out of spite than anything else).

  12. Even if ethically you may be right, I don´t think Alex should have forgotten that Mer was the person who gave him a place to live, and made it possible for him and Izzie to get married, giving them actually her own wedding. She was basically the only real friend he had at SHG.

  13. I hope so! Looking forward to this episode!!

  14. I have no problem with there being some resentment and issues between Mer and Alex! That is totally justified. But ONLY between the two of them. Everybody taking Meredith's side, making her out to be some kind of victim and painting Alex as a wholesome bad guy is what bugs me.

And regardless of Meredith being there for Alex, all those times she's been there for him, they've been personal. He's been there for her as a friend just as much!

This is work. It goes back to my statement of them "getting away with too much".
I will agree that Alex's motivation to tell wasn't the honest or honourable, but profecionally speaking it is what he should have done. IMO he got his punishement. He didn 't get the job he was in the lead for, a job he worked hard for, proved himself right for, earned and deserved, all because he was an ass about this. I would say that is enough. From now on it should be a personal issue between Alex and Mer. And everyone else should acknowledge where they both were wrong and where they were right and stay out of it.

  15. It looks like Alex needs to register a complaint with Human Resources.  Don't take any of their crap, guy.

  16. Cristina attacking Alex looks good!!! What Meredith did was wrong but she did it for the right reasons. Alex ratted on Meredith out of spite and it was completely unjustified. Of course most people are going to take Meredith's side. Cristina is her best friend and in case everyone has forgotten, Izzie stole a heart and killed a patient and Alex did not rat on her. When Alex failed his boards, Meredith was the one to help him study and she convinced the others to do the same. Meredith has been the only one who has defended him no matter what crap he pulled. They're supposed to have each other's backs and he completely betrayed her so he could get a stupid promotion. If he had told Derek because he was genuinely concerned then it would have been different. He screwed himself and now he has completely destroyed Meredith's career, for what? Because he was pissed off about the fact that Cristina told him that Meredith was the one everyone liked and trusted? No, I'm sorry, Alex has done a lot of crap in the past and I have tried to justify it because I like the guy and I love his character but betraying Meredith was a bad move and he deserves everything he gets.

  17. Isn't April supposed to lose her virginity in the premiere?

  18. Grey’s Anatomy TV Show is completely amazing series. It is a great show about relationships and medicine, varying between drama and comedy.

  19. People aren't taking Alex's side because they like Meredith more, for
starters. And then, as kids learn early on, no one likes a snitch. I'll
definitely agree with you, what Meredith did was very, very wrong, but I
disagree that the issue should stay just between Meredith and Alex. The
world isn't black and white, as Meredith stressed in the finale. In
snitching on Meredith, who has many friends, it is perfectly normal for
those friends of hers to rally in her defense and be thoroughly pissed
off at Alex for what he did, regardless of what -she- did. Especially considering it has, at least for now, cost her job.

Not to mention, what she did some of them might even feel wasn't too
bad. It's very conflicting. She screwed up with a huge clinical trial,
yes, but she did it because she perceived it would save a life, so many
characters probably even empathize with her. The fact that he didn't
even do it just to do what's right, but also for personal gain, simply
adds salt to the wound. And again, several characters might also be
ticked off because they know Meredith has always been a good friend to
Alex and are wondering what the heck would possess him to do such a
thing to her, because then it's not only a matter of snitching, it's
betrayal. People like traitors even less than they like snitches.

Again, I agree that what Meredith did was wrong and, on paper, in black
and white, what Alex did -was- right. He saw something was wrong and
turned it in, like you'd turn a crime up to the police. But then there
are all those other elements and emotions, and you can't just expect
this to stay between Meredith and Alex. If something big happens to a
person, it -will- affect the people around that person, at least on an
emotional level, so it -is- everyone's business.

Bottom line, IMO, the plot is being handled very well and realistically
and it is perfectly normal and understandable, if not totally rational,
that people are ticked off at Alex. Meredith stressed in the finale. In snitching on Meredith, who has many friends, it is perfectly normal for those friends of hers to rally in her defense and be thoroughly pissed off at Alex for what he did, regardless of what -she- did. 20. Well, that was an irritating glitch. Sorry for the weird double message there, I'm trying to edit it out but the edit window doesn't seem to be very good. Oh well.

  21. It's definitely not Lexie with Jackson... Sexie reunion then, anyone? ... I agree that it could possibly be April! If it is - WOW - didn't see that one coming!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well Meredith did that to help someone even if it was wrong. Alex tattled on her just so he could be chief resident. Meredith did what she did for the right reasons Alex did it for the wrong.

  25. Alex didn't destroy Meredith's career. Meredith has destroyed her own career. You can't blame Alex for an extremely bad decision that Meredith made all on her own. Alex is no saint but he didn't screw with a medical trial, he didn't screw with a blokes life (the one who was supposed to get the drug), he didn't screw with his wife's career and didn't screw with the reputation of the hospital. He got drunk and in a fit of poor judgement regarding a mate he told the truth.

  26. Let's hope this High School storyline (Alex/Mer) doesn't go on throughout the season. It's childish and quite dull.
