Thanks to spartigus15 for the heads up.

Third time's a charm for Dylan Baker, who will return for the new season of The Good Wife, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Baker, who plays convicted killer Colin Sweeney, first appeared in Season 1 as a client of Alicia (Julianna Margulies), who got him off the hook for murder. He was, however, sent to prison for another murder in a later episode. In Season 3, Sweeney is reportedly being sprung from jail to help Alicia with a case. TVLine.com first reported the news.

The 51-year-old actor, who is slated to return in an October episode, joins previously announced guest stars Parker Posey, Peter Jacobson, Lisa Edelstein, Eddie Izzard, Harvey Fierstein and a return appearance from Kelli Giddish.

The Good Wife returns on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on CBS.

  3. I found Alicia's interaction with him quite interesting. Especially in the first case when you got the feeling he actually was guilty right at the end.
