Game of Thrones - 5 Reasons Sean Bean will Return for Season 2

Game of ThronesA few days ago HBO Watch posted a very interesting article, titled "5 Reasons Sean Bean will Return to Game of Thrones for Season 2" (hope so!).
WARNING: Game of Thrones spoilers ahead! – I know what you’re thinking: Why do we torture you so? The open wound Eddard Stark left in your heart had finally started to close and mend. Why would we toy with you in your fragile state when we all know he’s gone, truly gone from Westeros forever. We all watched the gleaming edge of his own sword bite into the back of the man’s neck, ser! Why sully his memory and dishonor his house by insinuating that he may yet return to us?
I sympathize with you good ser but please.. hear me. While Eddard Stark, and for that matter, Sean Bean may be out of Game of Thrones’ present storyline for good, the possibility exists that he may yet return to the series in some form or another. In fact, we are of the opinion that HBO would be as mad as King Aerys not to take advantage of one or all of the following. So put aside your grief for a moment and consider this:

ReplyDeleteThink GOT should play a little more heavily on the spiritual aspect, even if those were not Martin's intentions. I would love to see Mr. Bean return, although I also look forward to seeing him in "Missing" this mid season.
ReplyDeleteI think Flashback's would be another great thing to add to the series since there is a lot of back story to tell...
I don't know about flashbacks, but dreams certainly can feature Ned. Cat dreams of him in book 2 and Jaime in book 3.

ReplyDeleteOh boy, for a second there I couldn't even form words. Brain freeze. I mean after that death scene it just never even occurred to me (in my deep and everlasting grief) that we could have him back...even if only for a moment. What a lovely idea.

ReplyDeleteSean Bean wants to come back and said so publicly. That's probably the most significant reason.
ReplyDeleteI am a major fan of the books and loved the TV series too, so I would only like to see Ned back if there was flashbacks
ReplyDeleteI think they should make it be that it was a plan of chopping someone's head off, so that the prince and his family thinks Lord Stark is no more...So that he can escape and have some time to heal........
