    This ten episode a season thing sucks! I want more episodes! Now I got to wait till next summer to view another ten episodes?  This really, really sucks!

    There are very many upsides to shows that have shorter seasons, you usually don't get filler episodes, and there's a lot less beating around the bush to revelations. Although, I do wish they hadn't waited until the penultimate episode of the season to get so interesting.

    I really need to  see something big in the last episode to happen, otherwise I may forget about this show. Just ten episodes and a year waiting for the new ones...If the ten episodes had been awesome, action-packed, it wouldnt be a problem to wait. But these were so-so episodes, sitting in some school for the entire season is not a thing I would expect from a science-fiction show...so many boring talking, and useless subplots like the pregnant woman...If you make just 10 episodes per season, make them unforgettable! There is no place for filler scenes.
    The new aliens give me some hope this show can be interesting, more than it is now.

    I almost gave up on it myself because of the never ending " Harnessed Kids " plot thread, but this last episode redeemed the show for me. Hopefully next season will have more action and mature plot threads like did all these people take vows of celibacy? I don't mean they have to go HBO or Showtime for us but a little bit of romantic interaction would only be normal under these circumstances. In real life there would be dudes fighting for the affections of Moon Bloodgood and Seychelle Gabriel. What's up with that?

    I agree there was lots of boring shit going on up til episode 8. It's like the show was stuck in neutral with all the " Harness kids, harnessed kids, Blah Blah Blah Harnessed kids ". Thank God they seem to have put it in gear finally but it was almost too little too late. Shows like Game of Thrones truly could have carried more episodes, but I see the point of it being better left wanting more than nauseated by too much.

    I really am starting to like this show. Felt it was booring at first, but after the last episodes was awsome. Specially with the focusing on both Pope, the skitters and stuff. Last episode had some awsome revelations witch i digged. Also some good actors, never liked Noah Wylde that much. But i like him on this show. Also guest role by Blair Brown from Fringe, and a steady role done by Will Patton.

    One of the best aliens-centric shows i have seen. If you count in a show where you actully get to see the aliens.

    They should have progressed the story of the harness sooner and given us a few more revelations to keep us sweet and then I would be more inclined to praise/defend the show. 

    I am confident the final episode(s) will be worth while though. Then, hopefully season 2 will be much faster paced and feel less like they're just killing time up until the final three-four episodes.
