  1. Oh, their comments on worst new shows were so on the spot.

  2. None to shocking they see no sitcom breakout hits. I did not like any of the promos. The New Girl being hit or miss is not shocking, but I can't stand the premise. That's too much time spent on this Fall's sitcoms... blah.

Homeland as best new drama... not a shock at all. My pick for best new drama and the show I am most interested in. Smash is one I picked as a hit even though I may not enjoy it personally. I was joyous to hear Awake was Alan's favorite. A little surprised to hear A Gifted Man and Once Upon a Time on their lists.

Some interesting stuff and some not so surprising to me. I think most people would not be surprised that the sitcoms Work It, How to be a Gentleman, Last Man Standing and Whitney were terrible, and Unforgettable and Grimm were terrible in drama.

Fringe being most looked forward to is a granted. Community and Supernatural getting some critic love is nice.

  3. Zoey Deschanel. And yeah, I wasn't terribly shocked at their comments either. But then I feel from talks here, that there's a fairly broad consensus on the new shows. Especially on the sitcoms, though Buffy-emo support for Ringer is getting a little more space here. :)

  4. Watching the video for "Worst new Show" was amusing, they couldnt pick the worst because almost all of them are lol

  5. Very true.

I fall into the Mo Ryan camp of Sarah Michelle Gellar..... I think she's best with Joss Whedon n Buffy and her other work is very hit or miss... usually miss. Ringer is not a must see for me at all and I don't expect to love it.

I hope I do though since it has Nestr Carbonell and Ioan Grufford...

  7. Wow!  I can't believe they actually promoted Supernatural as favorite returning show.  Woo hoo!!!  I'm married to that show too, Melanie McFarland (IMDB).  Great taste!  Good to see some reviewer love and promotion.

So I will definitely add Two Broke Girls and Once Upon a Time to my will try list.  I was wavering on them.  All of there no-go's were already on my list of the same.  Zooey Deschanel's show is now booted from my maybe list.  If the only thing they can say is that they love her but aren't sure about the show, then I am out.  I don't like her enough to watch a bad show.  I also agree about Ringer.  If it didn't star SMG, I would not be watching it either.

  8. "Returning shows we're excited for" was a really well done video but when "the host" says "It's the most insane television show I will never watch" (in reference to Supernatural if you're wondering) I cringe a little; how can one work as a television critique, witnessing first hand that sometimes the best shows come out of the most unexpected places (and god knows vice-versa always happens), and dismiss a show without even giving it a try?!

  9. I thought she said "The most insane television show I've never watched", but regardless of which she said,  I would think a TV columnist would have AT LEAST checked out a series that has been on 6 years.
