Endgame - Cancelled series may get renewed after all

Showcase is reconsidering canceling Endgame and financial negotiations are taking place to resurrect it.
Endgame was cancelled in May but ratings rose after cancellation and it was nominated for best drama series in the Gemini Awards and there were fan campaigns to bring it back.

    Very interesting.  But seeing is believing.  I was an avid Moonlight fan.  The good thing that came of it was all the blood donations.  The bad is the show never did go for a second season.  Heartbroken and very emotional for me.

    A Russian chess master trapped in a hotel by agoraphobia after the murder of of his wife, who solves crimes with hotel staff and a groupie.  I liked the show, so I assumed it was doomed.  I'll believe they're resurrecting it when I see it.

    it was a good show, but i know the ratings were extremly bad,.. would be cool seein a second run of the show but im not sure it will get it....

    We are going to keep fighting for Endgame until it is either renewed or picked up elsewhere. There is only one campaign, and we have every corner covered by all our amazing Endgamers.     There is certainly an impressive and enthusiastic Facebook fan campaign going, that's for sure. I do hope this is true, and i hope the negotiations go somewhere, i'd love to see a second season - they left the first on a bit of a cruel ending!

    That would make me happy. I enjoyed Season One quite a bit.

    It may not havebeen the best show on TV, but it was fun and fairly original. Those two traits go a long way these days.

    Maybe I'm cynical but that last sentence isn't very true.  Adaptations, remakes, and sequels are what go a long way now.

    Endgame has what is probably the most ridiculous, preposterous, flat-out dumb premise for a procedural drama in all of television.  In spite of that, I like Arkady Balagan and all the characters on the show so I hope this deal goes through.
