Desperate Housewives - Ending this season

Desperate Housewives is ending this season. Deadline reports the 8th season will be its last.
Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Eva Longoria are shocked and saddened since the ABC Studios series created by Marc Cherry was expected to continue until 2013 after the longtime showrunner said that he wanted the show to go for 9 seasons.

    Well, it's time to end the show. I'll definitely miss it, but at least they can wrap the show up.

    I was expecting it to end, but still it's shocking and sad. Hope they made a great season and an even superior series finale.

    I'm really sad to know that in a year from now there is no Desperate Housewives. But I'm kinda exited to, making this september the premiere of BOOOOM: Desperate Housewives - THE FINAL SEASON!!!!

    i love desperate housewives but i think it's a good time to wrap up, even the greatest shows have to end and i think it's a lot better than dragging it out until it loses its last viewer. :)
