Dana Delany, who played Katherine Mayfair for two years before leaving to star in ABC's Body of Proof, tells TVGuide.com she would love to bring closure to her character. Katherine ran away to Paris with her girlfriend, Robin (Julie Benz) in the middle of Season 6. "I would love to come back for one episode just to sort of wrap things up with Katherine," she says. "I want to know that she's happy. A happy lesbian. Wouldn't that be nice?"
Delany says she's been dying to talk to Cherry since news broke that the long-running drama would be going off the air. "I was as surprised as everybody. I figured that show had quite a few seasons left in it because it's still really getting good ratings," she says. "But we have not heard the last of Marc Cherry. I think he has a lot of things to come."

ReplyDeleteWasn't she in the show for about 3 years (s04, s05 and almost whole s06)? Anyhow, I'd love her to guest star. The housewives have not even mentioned her since she left, now that's bad from the writers. BAD BAD WRITERS.
ReplyDeleteThat's what i didn't like.. They never talked about her after she left.. She was friend with all housewives, she was like Bree's sister ! And she just left like this and no one cares on the lane =(

ReplyDeleteyes it was surprising for me too... she was a friend, bree's bff, and after she left no one ever said "hey whats up with katherine?!". i hope she's coming back for some episodes, we need to see her again, THIS IS THE LAST FUCKIN SEASON!

Dana Delany should not come back as a guest star but come back for all the episodes of the 8th season, Katherine was definitely the best and by far my favorite character of the whole series, why did things turned out so that she had to leave, that's so unfair. They speak about scheduling and all that stuff, but really this 8th season is composed of a whole bunch of completely unnecessary things, they should redo things so that she would appear from now on till the end, that would be an audience-gathering and an inrease in ratings garantee!
