CW Eyes Sex and The City Prequel Series

I hear that the CW has emerged as the leading candidate for The Carrie Diaries, a TV series project based on Sex and the City author Candice Bushnell’s recent book about Carrie’s high school years. There are no deals in place and talks are in preliminary stages but I hear Gossip Girl executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are being courted to shepherd the project.

    Any prequel series to sex and city could not live up to the original. Might work for CW with them targeting a teenager

    Ew no. I'm tired of Sex and the City. Plus it sounds like another Gossip Girl and I can't stand that show to begin with so why would i want 2 of them?
