I hear that the CW has emerged as the leading candidate for The Carrie Diaries, a TV series project based on Sex and the City author Candice Bushnell’s recent book about Carrie’s high school years. There are no deals in place and talks are in preliminary stages but I hear Gossip Girl executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are being courted to shepherd the project.

theres that milking a franchise for all its worth that ive grown accustomed to.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the CW get their paws on it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like typical CW fodder to me.
ReplyDeleteNo...
ReplyDeleteAny prequel series to sex and city could not live up to the original. Might work for CW with them targeting a teenager
ReplyDeletei don't know about this...
ReplyDeleteA show about 3 teenage prostitutes and their 30 year old slutty neighbor?
ReplyDeleteEw no. I'm tired of Sex and the City. Plus it sounds like another Gossip Girl and I can't stand that show to begin with so why would i want 2 of them?
ReplyDeleteI want to say I'm surprised, but I'm not that good an actress.
ReplyDeleteIsn't there enough vapid junk on The CW?
