The 6th episode of the new season will be called "By The Book"
• The team gets called in to a crime scene in the huge, creepy mansion of a famous Vampire thriller writer, Marilyn Mills. Her editor found the dead body of the author’s maid strung up – the crime scene replicated off one of Mill’s books.
• The team later finds out that the girl was poisoned and drained out of blood. They are baffled why she was working as a maid when she graduated from a prestigious school.
• The pool of suspects zeroed in on the editor, the rest of the household staff and the writer
herself -all of which have their own motives to kill the girl.
• The mystery thickens when they could not locate this famous writer.
• Natalia thinks she has turned into a vampire after she got bitten by one(?). Dr. Loman thinks he’s cursed. Oh boy!
• Is this Miami’s take on Vampire hits like Twilight,The Vampire Diaries and True Blood? It has been awhile that we have not seen a spooky episode so definitely something to look forward to.

~ This is a big episode for Natalia. After tracking down a suspect and placing him under arrest, the suspect resists and bites Natalia on the wrist with his canine fangs (also known as "vampire teeth").
~ 10.06 kind of deals with the world of vampires. The closest thing I can compare it to is "Suckers" from season 4. It's definitely geared towards being a Halloween episode.
~ The victim in the episode is a maid who works for a lady who is about to publish her latest book.
~ Tom Loman is in the episode and he makes contact with a substance that
causes his hands to go numb. Ryan helps him track down what caused it to happen.
~ Everyone is mentioned in the episode.

I can't wait for the season premiere
ReplyDeleteThis seems familiar
ReplyDeletethanks for these spoilers :D
ReplyDeleteI have to confess I quit watching this show when a certain actor came back and they killed one of my favorite actors because of it. Not mentioning any names to protect the innocent. However, I might start watching it again because of the genre. It all depends on what else is on at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAnother Natalia centric episode? Tom's hands going numb? Vampires? I think I'll skip this episode now, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Natalia thinks she has "turned" into a vampire because she was bitten, more likely she is worried about bacteria, possible infection after being bitten.
ReplyDeleteSo, as Eva LaRue has confirmed in TalkCSI interview,it's Emily Procter's character who gets bitten by the "vampire". Nice....
