Courteney Cox is making her TV directing debut this season on Cougar Town, TVGuide.com has learned.

The star of the ABC comedy will step behind the camera for an upcoming episode from Season 3.

    Just finished Scrubs S8 :'(. I need me some more Bill Lawrence! Bring on the Cougar Town S3! Also, I had no clue that Ted actually played Ted :O!

    I started to lose faith in the show. Have no idea why. I think it lost it's original atmosphere and became a variation on Friends in the suburbs. I wish they made the show more coherent.

    Ah, but that's what I love about the show. It's almost like pseudo-grounded surrealism. It's why I loved Scrubs too.
