This goes to show how insecure FOX is about its upcoming season of new comedies!
Personally I think they made the right choice even if I stopped watching Breaking In. Let a new show develop a little and see if it can find a stead following. Sometimes potential needs time to develop and with no guarantee that a new series will be any better.... give Breaking In (or any freshman series) a chance.
From what I've read and heard from reviewers there are no new comedy hits this season...... of course they are not always right.
I think The New Girl will catch on, but I cannot stand Zoe's character myself. Ok so she's goofy and geeky... some find that charming for sure. It annoys me more so I guess.
I might watch a few episodes to try it, but none of the promos have excited me as far as it or all the comedies go honestly. Especially not compared to last year with Mike and Molly, Better With You Mad Love etc.
Reciting the same dorky punchlines in similar promos over and over again won't endear a character to potential viewers, so that's a misstep on Fox's part.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! This is the best news I've heard in weeks! I'm so excited! Oz is the BEST comedy character ever and Christian Slater brings him to life like no one else could! Can't wait to see more of this show! Wooohooo!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't watch the show but it's nice to see that some networks actually keep their word.
ReplyDeleteWhat does that mean for Odette on House?
ReplyDeleteshe will still be a regular on both House and Breakin In! i guess they will arrange her to skip a few episodes of house to accomodate breaking in
ReplyDeleteGreat news! U just made my day! Can't wait! This was a very good show.

I may have to catch up on the first season!
Unbelievable news!
ReplyDeleteSo true... It makes me wonder what they have in the upcoming season...
ReplyDeleteThis is great, unexpected but great!!
ReplyDeleteNice I liked the show especially Michael Rosenbaum he's the main guy to make me laugh lol. If Michael does indeed return then so will I.
ReplyDeleteYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
ReplyDeleteIt won't take you long to catch up. You can tear through the entire season in one afternoon.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I agree about Fox's comedies. Besides The New Girl, FOX doesn't have much. I Hate My Teenage Daughter looks terrible.

this is good...Fox said they would look at everything before renewing it and it seems they did!

ReplyDeleteI guess maybe it played well in the test marketing.... but I agree they don't need to show her being dorky over and over.
ReplyDeletedidnt see that comming..
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!
ReplyDeleteTHEY BACK ! YES
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding?! This makes me so happy. Finally FOX keeps a show that does pretty well.
ReplyDeleteGood to see that it'll get the sendoff it deserves and to wrap up the story. :)
ReplyDelete...Bitter that this isn't about FOX renewing/reviving Lie To Me. Then again, they're probably confident in their new dramas.
