    I don't know about taking it with a grain of salt. I think that would be a great series finale if and when the producers decide to wrap up the show. Of course producers do change their minds once in a while, so who's to say that the decision will stick even if it is real?

    Im assuming it says "series" because its from a UK paper, and thats what we call seasons... for some reason. I got confused when I saw the title at first.

    There seems to be some confusion over this post, as people are'nt clicking on the pic and reading it, i think the whole point is, what MAYBE the storyline for the FINAL EVER episode......."Although they will not be tying the knot next season, insiders claim that producers plan to have a spectacular wedding for the star-crossed pair in the show's FINAL episode the the drama FINALLY runs its course. 'The producers are hoping for two more seasons,' says a source.'At the end, Booth and Brennan will be walking down the aisle, with their beautiful child as a ring-bearer'."

    This ending wouldn't surprise me all too much. I wouldn't hate it, but I don't think it really needs to happen either. But since we've still got some more episodes / seasons until the series finale, I guess that gives a lot of opportunity for further developement in either direction. As of now, anything's still possible.

    And also: Look at the picture of Emily and her actual husband ... "reel life" ... "REEL life" ... are you serious? Oo

    I don't think its true but I kinda wish it was. Bones ran its course imho. It was awesome, they drag it too long, changed character back and forth made Booth an idiot in last season, it was just weird even if we got some amazing episode through the s****. I feel like if we get season 8 then s7 wont be as great as it could be but we'll see :P

    Kathy Reichs has always said that she sees Bones as a prequel to her novels, so it would make sense,  in a way. In the novels, Brennan has been married and divorced already.

    Not sure how much I (or other fans) ascribe to her view, but it is something to think about.

    Well,maybe, but you know,the characters in the series are very diferent from those in the books,at least as far as I read(the first four books).The only things that are the same are Brennan's name and profession,and the character's personality is really different.And in the books, her ex-husband's name is not "Seeley Booth" and I also think in the book, she gave birth to her daughter while she was in her twenties.So it's a little far-fetched to say that the series is a prequel to the books.It may be that Kathy Reichs just meant to say that about certain aspects of the series.
