Army Wives' Catherine Bell will star in the TNT movie Good Morning, Killer that could potentially turn into a series, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Bell will play Ana Gray, an FBI agent on the hunt for a kidnapper. Killer, adaptation of April Smith's novel, will be one of six features in the new TNT Tuesday Night Mystery franchise that's set to start airing in November. And it may extend beyond its initial slot: Deadline reports that there may be an option to spawn this movie (as well as other Tuesday Night Mystery entries) into a series.
Bell's Wives contract is up after the show's upcoming sixth season.

I honestly think season six will be it for AW. Good luck to Catherine with this movie/potential new series!
ReplyDeleteI am of old school & hope TNT has a Tues. night mystery. I would enjoy seeing Catherine Bell in a murder mystery series
ReplyDeleteGreat opportunity for her ! But I still hope Army Wives will go through.. It deserves an amazing last season!
ReplyDeleteAs sad as I would be to see AW end, this sounds great :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss Army Wives. But all the best to Bell, who did great on JAG, so a murder mystery shouldn't be that much trouble for her.
ReplyDeleteAwesome opportunity for Catherine, not cool for my love of Army Wives. She plays my favorite character. :(
ReplyDeleteI don't think Catherine is going to give up Army Wives. And besides is not a tv show yet, it could be, but is still a movie project. But dying to see Catherine on this one 2. She's gorgeous and talent.
ReplyDeleteBut do you think Army Wives will survive beyond next season, though? I can see them getting a full season out of dismantling Fort Bragg, but after that, I don't see how they can go on. It wouldn't really ring true for me if they all end up together somewhere else what with the 23rd being disbanded.
